Ivory Coast vs Norway (Tuesday, 18:00)
With a place in the last 16 of the World Cup up for grabs, Ivory Coast and Norway square off at Dallas Stadium on Tuesday night.
Both sides come into this showdown having finished second in their respective groups, with Ivory Coast placing behind Germany and Norway finishing runners-up to France.
Norway’s group stage matches were particularly goal-heavy, which makes both teams to score an appealing option on Tuesday evening.
This selection would have landed in all three of the Norwegians' group games, each of which featured over 4.5 goals.
Both teams scoring was also a familiar theme in Norway's friendly fixtures in the build-up to the tournament, beating Sweden 3-1 before drawing 1-1 with Morocco.
While Ivory Coast’s matches were not quite as high-scoring during the group stage, they did fall to a 2-1 defeat against Germany, which strengthens the case for both sides to find the net here.
Belgium vs Senegal (Wednesday, 21:00)
Seattle Stadium in Washington will host Belgium’s round of 32 tie with Senegal at the World Cup on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils made heavy weather of Group G, drawing with Egypt and Iran, but still topped the group after a 5-1 win over New Zealand on matchday three.
Senegal also laboured through to the knockout rounds, albeit in a far tougher section, where they lost to both France and Norway before sealing progression with a 5-0 win over Iraq.
Given both sides carry plenty of attacking threat but have looked vulnerable defensively, both teams to score appeals here.
BTTS backers would have been rewarded out in two of Belgium’s three group stage matches, as well as in four of their eight World Cup qualifiers.
Senegal were also involved in high-scoring shootouts when losing to both France and Norway, finding the net in each of those two defeats, which adds to the appeal of siding with BTTS in this one.
Portugal vs Croatia (Friday, 00:00)
Friday’s World Cup action gets underway in Toronto as Portugal and Croatia lock horns in the round of 32.
Roberto Martinez’s side were widely tipped to top Group K but had to settle for second place behind Colombia.
As for Croatia, they also progressed as runners-up in Group K.
Notably, Zlatko Dalic’s side were involved in a 4-2 loss to England, while they also recorded a 3-1 win over Ghana.
It should also be noted that five of Croatia’s six friendly fixtures before this summer’s tournament saw both teams score.
Look for that to continue against a Portugal side who were held to a 1-1 draw by DR Congo during the group stage.
