CRAWLEY TOWN are odds on to be knocked in the next round of the FA Cup despite last night's heroics.

The minnows beat Derby in the third round thanks to a last-minute winner from Argentine star Sergio Torres to earn a less glamorous trip to Torquay. Ladbrokes make the Blue Square Premier side 4-9 to be knocked out and 2-1 to progress and then be eliminated in the fifth round.

Despite the gap in league standings Crawley were just 2-1 to beat Derby and were well backed for victory with several large bets placed in the 24 hours running up to the match. Crawley are now 2000-1 to lift the trophy from an initial quote of 5000-1.

Crawley Town stage of elimination: 4th Round – 4-9, 5th Round – 2-1, 6th Round – 10-1, semi-final – 80-1 and runners-up 500-1.
