With five fixtures of the 2024/25 Champions League now complete, things are really starting to heat up in the race to be the competition's top scorer.
Robert Lewandowski continued to top the scoring charts despite not finding the net against Borussia Dortmund, and the gap was closed by one as his colleague Raphinha found himself on the scoresheet.
However, the race is far from over, with multiple competitors still close behind on five goals. With a long way still to go, it is truly anyone's game at this relatively early stage.

Notable Movers
Robert Lewandowski – 7/2
No goals this week for Robert Lewandowski despite a 3-2 victory for his side over Borussia Dortmund. The Polish veteran is still top of the scoring charts on seven goals in spite of this week's blank, one ahead of his two nearest competitors.
Lewandowski has been in fantastic form since the arrival of Hansi Flick at Barcelona, managing braces against Brest and Red Star Belgrade. These results have seen Barca move into second place in the league stage table.
The former Bayern man is currently the bookies' joint favourite to take home the Champions League golden boot, and is priced at 7/2.
Considering Barcelona's form and the formidable trio fashioned from Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and the Polish international himself, Lewandowski could be an excellent value choice for punters at his current price.
Erling Haaland – 7/2
Erling Haaland's odds fell to 7/2 this week as his side were defeated 2-0 by Italian giants Juventus.
Although the Norwegian has five goals to his name, the torrid time his team have been enduring may put punter off backing him.
Haaland managed a brace in City's last game against Feyenoord, which seemed to have got him back on track, but it was another blank for the big forward this week.
With City staring down the barrel of elimination currently, this adds further reason for bettors to avoid Haaland at his current price. 7/2 is not a good pick in the current market.
Serhou Guirassy – 14/1
For those punters with a bit more guile, Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy may be a good pick. Currently level with Raphinha on six goals, and thus one behind Lewandowski, the Guinean international has been red-hot in Europe so far.
A brace against Barcelona saw his tally rise from four during the week, after a single had adorned his performance against Dinamo Zagreb in November.
Although currently stood at 14/1, Dortmund will qualify for the next phase, leaving Guirassy an excellent chance to continue this pre-Christmas form.
Punters looking for a left-field pick should certainly give him a go at this price.
