LADBROKES had cash-out problems on Saturday but luckily for one punter they were fixed for Sunday as he cashed out a £5 to win just short of £200k.

The unbelievable win and both to score tenfold paid roughly 200,000-1 but would have been a loser had the online customer let it run to a conclusion.

Nine of his selections had landed and he needed Real Madrid to beat Villarreal with both teams scoring im the late Spanish game.

The punter had already been given a let-off with Atletico Madrid coming back from 2-0 down against Eibar to win 3-2 with a late winner.

At 1-1 in the Villarreal v Real Madrid game he decided to cash out for a whopping £199,737.57 before the hosts took a shock lead only for Gareth Bale to make it 2-2 late on.

Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati said: “It's early days in the season but this bet will take some beating as far as we're concerned. The timing of the cash out couldn't have been better and we're delighted for our plucky in-play punter.”

I'm waiting to be sent a copy of the bet – and all I can say he's lucky it wasn't a Saturday punt!

Did it really happen though? The slip was posted on Twitter and shows the maximum return as 1 billion pounds! There’s loads of comments about it and Ladbrokes have said it was a typo on the betting slip! More like a bodged Photoshop job.

There’s also the fact that the betting slip has the amount they’ve won already in the balance in the top right corner, yet there’s the green cashout button which would suggest it’s not been cashed out yet.

Another bookie trying to con people into betting with them…

I don’t think they’d make it up. The typo is unfortunate by them but they have to recreate the slip because they can’t access a customer’s winning betslip for security reasons. That also explains the green cashout button.
