WE love the Carling Nations Cup. That's two matches and two winners – both pretty convincingly.
Last night it was the turn of Scotland at a very tasty 13-10 and they duly demolished Northern Ireland in Dublin.
My first-scorer tip was Kenny Miller at 5-1 and he bagged the opener. Several other bets came up including an Old Firm player to score at 1-2. So thanks for that Kris Commons.
Republic of Ireland, who beat Wales 3-0 on Tuesday, are 10-11 favourites with William Hill to win the trophy while Scotland are 11-10 from 11-4. Wales and Northern Ireland are 14-1.
England snubbed the Carling Nations and were instead in action away to Denmark. Jack Wilshere contributed to a 2-1 win on his debut and is 5-2 with William Hill to start the next international.
Scorer Darren Bent is 8-11 to keep his place with Wayne Rooney 1-5 to start and 10-3 to be left out.
