THE SPFL takes a break this weekend due to the international ties so it’s the Irn-Bru Cup that takes centre stage.

Queen of the South have had a good start in the Championship and host Northern Ireland’s Crusaders at Palmerston.

The Dumfries club have scored 11 goals in four matches in the league – not great news for a Crusaders side that lost 3-0 at home to Coleraine on Monday.

Crusaders have leaked an average of two goals per game this campaign and QoS -1 is 4-1 with BetVictor and that is the recommendation.

Dundee United host Alloa at Tannadice a week after the sides drew 1-1 in the league. The Tangerines have played five on home soil this season and conceded in each of those matches.

The Wasps haven’t been shy in front of goal with Kevin Cawley leading the charge but I’m home side to edge it.

The Terrors to win and both teams to score is 85-40 with BetVictor.

England entertain Spain tonight and Gareth Southgate’s defenders will be delighted to hear Diego Costa will be missing as his partner is heavily pregnant.

New manager Luis Enrique must also do without Andres Iniesta, David Silva and Gerard Pique who have retired from internationals.

It looks as if Man United’s Marcus Rashford will be given chance for England’s who are 17-10 with Spain the same price and the draw at 85-40.

I am looking forward to an entertaining game and feel Southgate’s side will edge it 2-1 at 9-1.
