THE Premiership title could be all but decided at Ibrox on Sunday with Rangers desperate for a win to halt Celtic's charge towards seven in a row.
The Light Blues head into derby day the most optimistic they've been in years after a fine run of form under Graeme Murty. Celtic have flattered to deceive at times as they struggle to match their Invincible exploits of last season but are still six points clear with a game in hand.
Both teams to score
Goals is a good place to start with neither side likely to hang about. Gers are on a six-game winning streak in league and cup that's seen them rattle 23 goals and they've only failed to net once at home under Murty.
Brendan Rodgers' Hoops have relished their recent trips to Ibrox – winning 2-0, 5-1 and 2-1 – so go for both teams to score at 7-10.
Player card
Celts skipper Scott Brown is public enemy No.1 at Ibrox and loves nothing more than getting stuck into Old Firm battle.
The 32-year-old has played in all 10 derbies since the rivalry resumed in 2015 and he's been booked in half of them. With card-happy ref Willie Collum in charge and tackles flying in from all angles, take Brown to be carded at 11-10.
Player to score
Moussa Dembele has been a shadow of the player who lit up Scottish football last season but is showing glimpses of his old form. The France Under-21 striker has scored three in his last two matches and thrives on the big occasion.
Dembele has faced Gers six times and scored five – including the opener in his only previous visit to Ibrox. He's a fair shout to get on the scoresheet at 11-10.
Corners
Rangers have been racking up the corners under Murty and they lead the league in that aspect with an average of 7.79 at home. They concede an average of 3.07 at Ibrox and this season's two previous derbies have seen 11 and 13 corners.
With an end-to-end encounter expected here I'm on over nine corners at 8-11 to complete the line.
