Bernardo Silva next club odds

The Bernardo Silva next club odds suggest that the Portuguese maestro could be on the move from Manchester City after Euro 2024 is finished.

Silva has been a key player at the Etihad Stadium since signing for the club from Monaco back in 2017 and has won everything there is to win over the past seven years.

There have been rumours about a possible exit over the past couple of years but each summer, Pep Guardiola has been able to convince the playmaker to stay at the club.

However, his current contract is believed to have a £50m release clause that can be activated this summer so the end truly could be on the horizon.

The incentive for a move is likely to pursue a fresh challenge after enjoying unparalleled success at Manchester City. He has also frequently spoken about his disdain for the British weather so a move abroad is far more likely than a move to another Premier League outfit.

With rumours continuing to swirl, here are the latest odds on Silva's most likely destinations.

Bernardo Silva next club odds: Bayern Munich lead the way

Bayern Munich – 4/1 (Favs)

At the end of June, the Daily Star reported that Bayern Munich were preparing to make a £50 bid for Silva. Although no official bid has been forthcoming, their interest in the Portuguese playmaker is believed to be real and it would be a move that makes a lot of sense for both player and club.

Bayern currently have a lot of talent at the top of the pitch but are perhaps lacking a playmaker to knit it all together. Bernardo Silva fits that bill to a tee and the move would give him the opportunity to work with Vincent Kompany again after the pair played alongside each other for two years at Man City between 2017 and 2019.

Barcelona – 5/1

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Bernardo Silva for several seasons now and the move was reportedly close last year. In fact, some reports have stated that the release clause in his contract was put in specifically to make it possible for Barcelona to sign him this summer.

The attraction of Barcelona for a diminutive midfielder is obvious given the success that the likes of Xavi and Iniesta enjoyed at the Nou Camp in previous eras. The move would also reunite Silva with Ilkay Gundogan.

PSG – 6/1

PSG are also rumoured to be circling Bernardo Silva and have been doing so since 2022 when Luis Campos became the club's Sporting Director. Campos has signed Silva once before when he was Monaco's Sporting Director, so his admiration for the player is clear.

Would a move to PSG appeal to Silva given he is still playing at an elite level? That's the only real question mark around this transfer.

Real Madrid – 10/1

When one of the world's best footballers is potentially on the move, expect Real Madrid's name to be in the conversation. Although no concrete links have suggested that Los Blancos could move for Silva this summer, they are always on the lookout to improve their squad and with Toni Kroos retiring, perhaps they could do with another experienced midfielder.
