Our acca betting tips are largely based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Bayer Leverkusen
Young Boys are running away with things in Switzerland and will relish the opportunity to test themselves against Bundesliga opposition in the shape of Bayer Leverkusen, especially with the visitors seemingly on the slide.
Peter Bosz' side have managed just two wins in the league since the turn of the year which has seen them slip down the table and looking over their shoulders. Seven goals scored in their last two games will give them some confidence ahead of their trip across the border though and they could land the spoils at 23/20.
On their day Leverkusen can be a very good side and a break from the Bundesliga could be just what they need.
Benfica v Arsenal – Both Teams To Score
The Gunners banged in 20 goals in the group stages and despite a distinctly average domestic season will be keen to see how far they can go in this competition.
On paper they could barely have picked out a tougher match at this stage of the competition, going up against Champions League regulars Benfica but the match being moved to a neutral venue in Rome removes any first leg home advantage.
The Eagles qualified in second place from the same group as Rangers but shipped nine goals in their six matches so Arsenal will fancy their chances of getting a goal or two that will make life easier in the return leg (to be played in Greece).
Benfica notched 18 goals in the group stages so clearly a goal threat too.
Roma
Braga may be third in the Portuguese Primera Liga but more often than not they've come up short against quality opposition in the league. Aside from a 3-2 win at Benfica back in November they've take just one other point from 12 against the other top five sides in Portugal.
For Roma it's a similar story in Serie A where they too are third in the table and yet to beat any side in the current top eight.
Braga qualified well from their Group which included Leicester, Zorya and AEK but they were well beaten 4-0 by the Foxes at the King Power before drawing 3-3 at home when the teams met back-to-back.
Roma finished their group with a similar record but their one defeat came when top spot was already secured, a 2-1 defeat in Sofia to CSKA.
Porto's win over Juventus puts a more positive slant on this for Braga but I'm siding with the Serie A side to be too strong for a good, but not great Braga steam.
Man Utd
Winners in 2017, Manchester United know as well as anything the value of lifting the Europa League trophy. The silverware was almost secondary to the being handed entry to the Champions League and with United in a competitive race for second place in the Premier League they'll definitely be giving this competition their all.
Sociedad enjoyed a great start to the season but have been found out a little when up against the best La Liga has to offer. Real Betis, in 7th, are the highest ranked team they've beat this season so have clearly not been able to match up to the better quality sides.
This is another match that's been moved and will be contested in Turin, meaning Sociedad relinquish home advantage. A full-strength(ish), on-the-ball United are capable of winning this one.
