I TOOK a little risk with the opening bet of my £10 to £1000 challenge but it paid off.

Norwich battled to a 1-0 win at Huddersfield in the Championship to put £21.50 in the kitty.

So we move on to bet No.2 in the race to £1k. Nothing stands out in England on Sunday so I'm heading to the Continent.

I tipped Lens draw no bet against PSG on Thursday and with PSG still without most of their star men I'd consider the same bet when Marseille visit the capital.

However, I've decided the next bet on the challenge will be Villarreal at home newly-promoted Huesca on La Liga's opening weekend.

Unai Emery's Villarreal have made some good signings, especially Coquelin and Parejo and Takefusa Kubo on loan from Real Madrid.

Huesca won La Liga 2 but struggled on the road with just six wins in 21 so this should be a tough assignment although no fans in the Mestalla could have a difference.

Bet Two

  • Villarreal (5.30pm)
  • (4-7, Ladbrokes)
  • Stake £21.50
