Darts top tips

The 2025/26 World Darts Championship has reached the fourth round, and by the end of Tuesday, 30 December, only eight players will remain in the hunt for the Sid Waddell Trophy.

Luke Littler and Ryan Searle both booked their spots in the quarter-finals on Monday evening, and both men remain on course for a blockbuster semi-final at the Alexandra Palace in the new year.

While Darts' biggest headlines are so often about Littler these days, he will take a back seat on Tuesday, with the likes of Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen taking centre stage.

Ahead of the action getting underway at the Palace, check out round four tips below.

World Darts Championship round four tips

Luke Woodhouse to beat Krzysztof Ratajski – 11/10

Aside from Michael van Gerwen vs Gary Anderson, the closest match on paper on Tuesday is the opening game of the day between Luke Woodhouse and Krzysztof Ratajski.

Both men have played well up to this point, but it is Woodhouse who has been the more impressive. The 36-year-old has averaged more than 90 in each match he has played, improving in this metric by a couple of points per round.

Woodhouse has also only dropped two sets across his first three rounds, while Ratajski dropped three in his round-three match alone.

Gary Anderson to score more 180s than Michael van Gerwen – 5/6

This is a match that would be befitting of the final, but Gary Anderson's ranking means that these two legends of the game are meeting in the fourth round on Tuesday.

The match is considered a coin flip, which is fair enough; however, the most 180s market has also been priced in a similar fashion, which feels off.

Anderson is naturally a more frequent 180-hitter than MVG, and even in the small sample size of this year's tournament, he has proven that. Across his three rounds, the Flying Scotsman has hit 29 180s at an average of 1.81 180s per set.

Van Gerwen, on the other hand, has hit 20 180s at an average of 1.53 180s per set.

Luke Humphries vs Kevin Doets over 5.5 sets – 13/8

Luke Humphries was made to work for his victory in round two after Gabriel Clemens pushed him to six sets after initially going 3-0 down to Coolhand.

Clemens has shown that Humphries, like Littler, isn't an unmovable force and that he can be rattled by some good darts. One man who is certainly capable of producing such darts is Kevin Doets.

The Dutchman has one of the most natural throws in the game and was utterly sensational in his 4-3 win over Nathan Aspinall in round three. Doets finished that match by winning six legs in a row to come from 3-2 down, showing the ability to play well under intense pressure in the process.
