The World Cup kicks off tomorrow but England are still a week away from their opening game and play their final friendly tonight against Costa Rica.
The Three Lions ground out a dreary 1-0 win over New Zealand on Saturday night as Thomas Tuchel fielded completely different teams in each half.
That was all about fitness and acclimatisation but the England boss will now be looking for a more polished display against the Costa Ricans.
England vs Costa Rica top betting tips
England face Panama in their World Cup group so this clash with another Central American side will be good preparation.
The Costa Ricans missed out on qualification and are in poor form, with just one win across their last 11 matches.
That makes England worthy 1/6 jollies tonight and I'm going to combine a win for the Three Lions with under 3.5 goals, which pays evens at Bet365.
Tuchel's Arsenal contingent sat out the game with the Kiwis after playing in the Champions League Final. They should get a decent run-out tonight and Bukayo Saka is 13/10 with Bet365 for anytime scorer.
Portugal vs Nigeria
Portugal also have a week to go before their World Cup opener and play their final friendly tonight against Nigeria.
Roberto Martinez has a star-studded squad capable of going all the way this summer so it will be interesting to see what shape the Portuguese are in.
They beat Chile 2-1 on Saturday but it was a hardly ideal preparation, with Rafael Leao sent off after punching Ivan Roman, who also saw red.
Nigeria drew 2-2 with Poland in their last friendly but are still missing their two best players in Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen.
So I'm going to back Portugal to win and score in both halves, with those selections paying 20/21 in a bet builder at Bet365.
Chelsea winger Pedro is always a threat and he's 9/4 with the same firm to provide an assist.
Bolivia vs Algeria
Algeria are the other World Cup finalists in friendly action tonight and they should be too strong for Bolivia.
The Algerians upset the odds by beating the Netherlands 1-0 away from home a week ago and it's now just one defeat in their last 17 games.
That's hugely impressive form heading into a major tournament and they're just 19/50 at Bet365 for a victory in this friendly.
Bolivia are 7/1 outsiders and that's no surprise after their dismal display against Scotland on Saturday night.
Steve Clarke's side smashed four past them and the Bolivians offered little as way of a response. So I'm going to back Algeria at -1 in the handicap tonight, which pays a decent evens at Bet365.
