Please understand I am not arguing with you. However, it is less than halfway in the season, United have gone 3 points clear and the season has now already been decided? You aren’t the only one with this view to be fair. Plenty of time for teams to turn it around, but yes based on current form/results United look to be in a good position. It would be naive to call it so early though.

I looked at that angle Sean but not convinced it is the right market to take on this game. Napoli should put out a very strong outfit and I can’t rule out the possibility they could quickly jump into a 1 or 2 goal lead, can’t see Empoli putting up the same stubborn resistance as when I backed the FH corners market when the hosts played Roma. Paddy have set the card index at over 30 pts on Livingston Aberdeen tonight at 6/5. If we flew in an overseas ref for this, we’d be lucky to see 8 v 8 at the end, two totally industrial teams who would probably prefer the ball be taken off the pitch as it will get in the way of their elbowing, kicking and gouging. Bear in mind that Aberdeen and Livingston are both in the top 4 for the LEAST bookings in the SPL.
Footiefan77 that in itself is a damning indictment of Scottish refereeing standards, for some reason I can’t access the SPFL stat centre any more but Cosgrove used to average c.5 fouls per game and Ferguson can’t be far off it. I’m not sure Livingston have got a football player in their team although maybe that was the Gary Holt influence and they’ve all turned into Messi under the new guy. Two teams of absolute hammer throwers, I wish we could get some refs from places like Portugal in to our game for a couple of years to get this 1960s dross back into the amateur leagues where it belongs.
