Tuesdays top tips 3

Burnley have only conceded nine times in 30 EFL Championship games this season but find themselves sitting third in the table ahead of tonight's clash with in-form Oxford United.

With a defensive record like that, Scott Parker's men should be topping the table but a lack of firepower has cost them, with the Clarets scoring 24 goals fewer than leaders Leeds United.

Three of their last four games have ended in 0-0 draws and it won't be easy getting back on track against an Oxford side who have gone nine games unbeaten in the Championship.

Burnley vs Oxford United top betting tips

Burnley's drought has to end at some point and Oxford have only kept two clean sheets in their last seven games so I've a feeling Turf Moor fans will finally get some entertainment.

The Clarets are 2/5 hot favourites but combining the home win with over 1.5 goals boosts the odds to 20/23 with BoyleSports. Over 2.5 match goals is priced 11/10 by the same firm.

Oxford have picked up four yellows in each of their last two matches so the 11/10 on offer at Bet365 for Gary Rowett's men to pick up over 2.5 cards looks like the best option for punters.

Queens Park Rangers vs Blackburn Rovers top betting tips

There's one more game in the EFL Championship tonight and it's a tricky one to call as Queens Park Rangers host Blackburn.

QPR were in a relegation dogfight before a superb run that saw them lose just once in 13 league games fired them up to mid-table.

They've lost a bit of momentum in recent weeks, losing two in a row, and will be desperate to get back on track against fifth-placed Rovers.

Blackburn's play-off push suffered a blow with three successive defeats but they bounced back with a derby win over Preston last time out.

This is a tricky one to call and I fancy the half-time draw at 10/11 with BoyleSports, a bet that landed when Rovers won 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

Queens Park Rangers had a man sent off that night and five yellows were also flashed, which makes over 47.5 booking points a decent option tonight at 11/10 with Betfred.

Atalanta vs Bologna top betting tips

There's a few cup ties across Europe tonight and I'm going to concentrate on the quarter-final tie between Atalanta and Bologna in Italy.

After a stunning run that saw Atalanta claim 11 successive Serie A victories, they've gone off the boil a little, winning two of their last nine in all competitions.

Gian Piero Gasperini's men now face a Bologna side who have found form, with just one defeat in their last 14 outings.

Despite that, Vincenzo Italiano's men are BoyleSports' 10/3 outsiders tonight in Bergamo, while Atalanta are 4/6 hot favourites.

Going for goals usually pays off with Atalanta and combining BTTS with over 2.5 strikes tonight pays 6/5 at BoyleSports.

We saw 11 corners when these sides drew 1-1 in Serie A earlier this season so over 9.5 flag kicks also looks good at 11/8.

Tuesday's Super Singles

  • Over 2.5 Oxford United cards 11/10 Bet365.
  • Over 9.5 corners in Atalanta v Bologna 11/8 BoyleSports
  • Over 47.5 booking points in QPR v Blackburn 11/10 Betfred
