Tuesdays top tips 2

Chelsea remain a work in progress under Enzo Maresca but they now stand just two games away from being crowned world champions by FIFA.

The former Leicester boss has already delivered the Conference League trophy and a top-four Premier League finish in an encouraging debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.

If he can guide his Blues side past Fluminense in tonight's semi-final he will now have a shot at the Club World Cup Final and the vast financial windfall that comes with winning FIFA's revamped tournament.

Fluminense vs Chelsea top betting tips

This is Chelsea's third clash with a Brazilian side at these finals and the results have been mixed so far, with a 3-1 loss to Flamengo in the group stage followed by a 2-1 victory over Palmeiras in the quarter-finals.

But Nicolas Jackson's red card played a big part in that loss to Flamengo and BoyleSports make the Blues 3/10 favourites to reach the final. Fluminense are 23/10 outsiders to go through but will fancy their chances, having yet to suffer a defeat at this tournament.

The Brazilians have kept three clean sheets so far and shut out Inter Milan so this could be a tight game, with under 2.5 goals priced just 8/11.

Stats bets offer the most value for this one and Pedro Neto is 11/10 at BoyleSports for a shot on target, which looks decent given he has scored three times at this tournament. But it's unsure if the winger will start so soon after the funeral of his close friend Diogo Jota so I'm going for the same bet with midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who is also 11/10 in that market.

Veteran Fluminense stopper Thiago Silva is going up against his old club and he's 6/5 at Coral to make over 1.5 tackles. The 40-year-old is also 7/2 at Paddy Power to commit over 1.5 fouls.

Germany Women v Denmark Women

Germany are being talked up as potential winners of the women's Euros this summer and if they defeat Denmark in Group C tonight it should book their place in the knockout stages.

The Germans were steady if unspectacular as they beat Poland 2-0 in their opener, although the victory came at a cost as captain Giulia Gwinn picked up an injury that has ended her tournament.

Even without their skipper, Christian Wuck's side should still be too strong for a Danish side who lost 1-0 to Sweden in their opener.

BoyleSports make Germany 1/3 favourites but you can boost those odds to evens by backing them to be winning at half-time and full-time.

Winger Klara Buhl has an excellent scoring record at international level and sits on 28 goals at the age of just 24. She's 11/8 to get off the mark at these finals and those odds look decent based on her career stats for Germany.

Poland Women vs Sweden Women

The other Group C clash tonight sees Sweden take on Poland and the Scandinavian side will be confident of claiming a second successive victory.

The Swedes sit sixth in FIFA's world rankings, 21 places above the Poles, so it's easy to see why BoyleSports make them 2/9 favourites tonight.

Poland tried to frustrate the Germans in their opener and it worked to a certain extent, with the group favourites having to wait until the second half before grabbing the two goals that sealed their victory.

The Poles have to be a bit more expansive tonight to keep their hopes of progression alive but Sweden won't offer up too many chances after keeping a clean sheet against Denmark in their opener.

A Swedish win to nil pays 21/20 at BoyleSports and that looks pretty good value based on how well they defended in their opener.

Striker Stina Blackstenius let me down after I backed her to score against the Danes and she's just 5/6 to get off the mark here. I'm more drawn to the prices in the assist market and Sweden winger Madelen Janogy is 9/2 at Bet365 to set one up.

Tuesday's Super Singles

  • Thiago Silva over 1.5 tackles 11/4 Bet365
  • Germany's Klara Buhl anytime scorer 11/8 BoyleSports
  • Sweden's Madelen Janogy assist 9/2 Bet365
