The destination of the Premier League title is still very much in Manchester City's hands but Liverpool can apply some pressure tonight to set up a season finale full of drama this Sunday.
City's 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday will feel like two points dropped after Jesus failed to convert from the spot but after being 2-0 down at half-time the point gained could prove vital.
It leaves Liverpool four points behind with one game in hand, tonight's clash at Southampton. The Reds find themselves seven goals worse off than City and although it's unlikely that goal difference will come in to the final reckoning they'll be hoping to turn up the heat with a few goals tonight.
Saturday's FA Cup final final victory came after a bruising 120 minutes which saw Mo Salah, Andy Robertson and Virgil Van Dijk withdrawn so Jurgen Klopp could be forced in to some changes, especially with a Champions League final date also on the horizon.
Southampton's season end can't come soon enough, After a purple patch in February they've won just one of their last 11 (W1 D2 L8) and have lost eight of the last nine meetings with Liverpool.
The Saints have been behind at half-time in six of their last nine league games so there could be an opportunity to cash in on Liverpool being ahead at the break and at full-time which is priced at a far more attractive 21/20 than the 2/5 on them winning the match.
With Salah a doubt, Liverpool's number 10 could be the main Mané. The Senegalese striker has scored 22 goals this campaign and is 6/5 to net against his former club.

Macca, I’ve been a follower of this site for a good few years now and I’m more of an observer than a poster on here but I’ve gotta say mate, I’m well impressed with your tips. I’ve always been a big fan of Greg (before he left to go his own way) and Hull too but you’re right up there as a tipster. Now all I need to do is start backing some of them lol. Keep up the good work mate 👏🏼
Kind words but there are lots of good tipsters on this site with different knowledge on different leagues, that’s why it’s one of the best sites going.

🏴Southampton v Liverpool🏴
🔘Bet: Liverpool win/over 1.5 match goals/over 6.5 Southampton goal kicks- bet builder: 20/21 (B365)
💰NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
There’s not too much value in Liverpool at 1/3 but add in over 1.5 goals (match goals pays more than Liverpool goals for some reason) and over 6.5 Soton goal kicks and you’ve got a nice bet builder at a shade under evens.
Saints are in dire straights. They’ve lost 8 of their last 11. They’ve conceded 2+ in 9 of those 11. In that poor run, they’ve suffered confidence draining defeats to weaker teams (1-2 v Watford, 2-0 v Burnley, 3-0 v Brentford, 1-2 v Palace, 4-0 v Villa). They’ve also suffered heavy defeats against top teams (0-6 v Chelsea and 1-4 v Man City) recently and I predict Liverpool will get a few goals tonight and win fairly easily.
Liverpool to win/over 1.5 goals is only 1/2 so this is where the goal kick angle comes in. I considered adding Liverpool 5+ corners but since Robertson’s injury against Spurs, Liverpool’s corner numbers have dropped. They only hit 3 recently at Villa with Tsimikas not so adept at attacking as Robertson. However, I have noticed the high number of goal kicks opposing teams are getting due to Liverpool’s constant attacking.
Here’s a list of the amount of goal kicks teams playing Liverpool recently have had (not including Man C games for obvious reasons):
8,12,16,9,5,15,6,7,9,8,13,8,10.
In their last 13 games, they’ve beaten the over 6.5 goal kick line 11 times. The 2 they didn’t was the 4-0 jumping of Man U – which became a training exercise after 25 mins – and a tough assignment at the Emirates where they were 1 short.
Therefore, I’m going to back goal kicks instead of corners and hope Liverpool’s constant dominance tonight sees them beat the over 6.5 barrier to land the bet builder.
Good luck everyone 👍🏻
🚨Slight alteration to Liverpool bet🚨
Liverpool have made an incredible 9 changes and this is reflected in the odds. It means we can make a slight alteration to the bet to add the safety net of Liverpool only needing to win a half rather than the entire match.
Full cash out is still available with bet 365 to re-place the new bet. 👍🏻
🔘New bet: Liverpool win either half/over 1.5 match goals/over 6.5 Soton goal kicks: 5/6 (bet365)
I wasn’t expecting such a weakened team but I still think Liverpool are worth betting on. Even with the changes, they’re still much better than this out of sorts Southampton side. Plenty of talent in the side and on the bench.
Klopp said yesterday that he was going to make lots of changes.
Fair one, I didn’t think he’d completely rest Mane and TAA though!
Luckily it didn’t matter in the end. Superb strength in depth at Liverpool without spending Man City esq billions.
Klopp is the master.

Norwegian Cup (Wednesday)
Going to have a go at the Norwegian cup tomorrow and get them up now incase of price drops and not sure what state I will be in for posting!
It can be an excellent competition for goals and mismatches and catch them early enough and I sometimes feel the bookies can give out generous prices. Unfortunately the stand out games for goals are currently the ones that the bookies are avoiding even listing but will see if any of them appear. Markets also limited and hopefully Hills offer out some team goals markets on this tomorrow at some point. Keep eyes peeled for goals markets on Voss vs Brann and Rana vs Fredrikstad in particular.
Over 3.5mgs @ 19/20 (bet365) Nap
Trygg/Lade vs Levanger
Have been keeping a close eye on the lower Norwegian leagues and have taken the Trygg/Lade games a few times for goals as their games seem to be full of them. They have played 6 league games this season and have seen 35 goals already, 24 of them against, averaging out at 5.8 goals a game. The fact that they now play a team who are much better than what they are facing in their own league and I really can’t see them keeping the back door closed. Depending how seriously Levanger take this, it could be a bit of a doing. So to see the goal line set at over 3 goals @ 19/20 is surprising when their goal line on a league game is normally over 4 for about 10/11 or lower. Reckon that’s what we will see tomorrow so taking this just now.
Over 2.5mgs treble @ 3/2 (bet365) Nb
Os vs Asane
Trygg/Lade vs Levanger
Pors vs Arendal
Small stake
Over 3.5mgs double @ 2.8/1 (bet365)
Os vs Asane
Pors vs Arendal
Asane may be having a poor league campaign but I’m sure this will be a welcome distraction with the potential to take a win with a few goals as well. Os are having a good league season in comparison but theres a gulf in quality between the teams and leagues and this should suit Asane even though they have been fairly goal shy so far. Albeit being 2020 and 2018, the last two times these teams met Asane have scored 6 in each, and I wouldn’t say the gap between them has changed much either. With both teams potential to contribute with Asane also leaking goals, the goal line of over 3 I like the look of.
Arendal have been a team iv kept an eye on as well, with team goal form similar to Fredrikstad before they came up into the OBOS ligaen. They lost their recent match to Notodden after getting a man sent off in the second half but were still the better team and before that had scored 2+ in their last 11 games, and 15 out their last 20. Pors are a decent team in their respective league but Arendal should find the net a few times against them. For a comparison, the team sitting in the relegation places in Arendals league (Notodden coincidently), took 5 off Pors in a friendly in February.
If team goals become available tomorrow , I’d be confident on a treble of Asane, Levanger and Arendal over 1.5. The Molde game, Brann game and Fredrikstad game are the other 3 I’d really fancy some goals in too if they appear and will post tomorrow if anything else appears. Apologies for the lengthy write up!
Good luck all 🤞🤞
Great write up mate. Spotted yesterday it was Norwegian Cup Wednesday and got it on my radar.
Just a bit of input on getting better prices even though on paper it’s riskier but tends to go to form because of the gulf in class.
I always go match result and 2 or more goals.
Or March result 3 or more goals or even 4
So for example with your NAPtge bet would be Levanger to win and 4 or more match goals.
Always available at William Hill on the Norwegian games.
Like I say slightly riskier but I reckon it’ll at least double if not treble your returns.
Yeah I like the thinking, sometimes just stick with the goals for the chance they are in by HT etc 😅 , but can’t see any of the three teams losing , especially Levanger and wouldn’t put anyone off backing them on the handicap either! Have noticed bet365 have removed the over 3.5 option and replaced it with over 4 @ 8/5 already.
