When your luck’s out your luck is out and no-one was more unfortunate than Seamus Coleman who was in the wrong place at the wrong time to condemn Everton to their 12th consecutive league game without a win, when the ball bounced off him and in to Toffees’ net in added time on Saturday.
That equalled the club’s worst run in the Premier League and sets up a nervy end to the season for the blue half of Merseyside. Tonight they face another tough task at top-six chasing Newcastle.
Eddie Howe’s men fought back from 3-1 down at home to West Ham to win a thrilling three points and if St James Park can uncork that energy form Saturday again the Magpies will be well on their way to three points tonight.
It’s been Newcastle’s home form that’s kept their European hopes alive, winning ten of 15 on home soil. At 10/11 they look well priced against an Everton side who don’t look like they know where their next is coming from. Add in two or more goals for the home side to make a 23/20 BetBuilder.
Bournemouth can probably count themselves safe from relegation after an excellent run that’s seen them pick up 10 points from a possible 12 and they can add to that tally with a win over Crystal Palace.
Those points have all come against teams in the bottom five and Palace are another side who are below the Cherries in the table. Only Liverpool and Manchester City have won in Bournemouth’s last 10 at the Vitality so the 17/20 on a home win looks fair.
Spurs got there in the end against Luton on Saturday but they’re too short at even money to be backing at West Ham this evening.
Goals looks the best approach as neither side can keep a clean sheet. Unfortunately the bookies agree and have Over 2.5 at just 2/5 so look to the first half market and Over 1.5 at even money.
Keep an eye out for lowly Saarbrücken who meet bitter local rivals Kaiserslautern in the semi-final of the DFB-Pokal this evening.
The third-tier side’s fairytale run in the competition has seen them knock-out Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Don’t expect to get any giant-killing odds tonight however, Kaiserslautern are struggling to stave off relegation from Bundesliga 2, so Saarbrücken are priced at just even money to become the first team from the third tier to reach the final since 2001.

Heading to Portugal for my single today where Benfica host sporting in the semi final.
The last 4 h2hs have seen btts + o2.5. Benfica have netted in their last 18 home games with 14/18 seeing them score multiple goals. They have kept a clean sheet in 6/18.
Sporting have managed to score in 21/22 away games and have only kept a clean sheet in 5 of those games.
With odds of 1/1 I’m more than happy with taking it on a day where I struggled to find much value anywhere

Romanian Cup
Hunedoara v CFR Cluj
CFR Cluj travel too 2nd tier Hunedoara today in a cup tie, they are odds on favourites too win the tie but they could be made too work for it.
The home side have already dispatched of top flight side Sepsi in an earlier round and sit 3rd in their league hoping for promotion. They have scored in 32 of their last 35 home games going back too June 2022.
Incredibly for one of the better sides in Romania CFR Cluj have kept just 1 clean sheet in their last 33 away days,a run that stretches back to Feb 2023. They conceded away at 2nd tier Alexandria in an earlier round.
2 options for this game and the BTTS stands out at odds against for me …
BTTS 11/10
BTTS & o2.5gls 7/4
Newcastle v Everton
Everton double chance at 5/6
Newcastle will be without 13 players for tonight’s game including Almiron and Gordon and a whole host of others. Everton were unlucky when they visited Bournemouth in the last round losing that game to an own goal. Bournemouth play a similar attacking game to Newcastle at home and didn’t have a shot on target v Everton the whole second half bar the own goal, with Everton desperate for points and Newcastle’s lengthy Injury list especially Gordon being suspended Everton could grab something here.
Prediction 1-1
West Ham v Spurs
Over 3.5 goals at 1/1
Over 4.5 goals at 12/5
Best of luck
Bournemouth v Crystal Palace
Dominic Solanke to score anytime at 7/5
Not the strongest Newcastle line up as expected, with that in mind if Everton take a lead you can bet Pickford won’t be releasing the ball in a hurry.
Jordan Pickford to be booked at 5/1 skybet he’s only 3/1 at b365

Rosenborg u19 vs Aalesund u19
Over 4.5mgs @ 11/8 (bet365)
Bit of interest this afternoon, last game of the group and an Aalesund win would see them qualify so it’s a straight shoot out here. Rosenborg win and they guarantee top spot. These games are rarely cautious so hopefully they both go for it to secure a way through the group. Odds changing on this throughout the day but anything above evens is worth a go in my opinion.
Good luck 🤞
Smashed it again pal, some level of consistency 👏🏻
Cheers mate 👍 ups and downs lol, I just try and post whenever I get the time 😅

BTTS 17-20 HILLS….⚽
Hard to find much info on this league 2 in honduras but the 2 recent meetings here finished 3-2 and 2-1 so why not.

1-1 on 59 minutes 😂⚽

Looks like sporting have taken a leaf out of the Arsenal playbook 🤬
Writing this off at half time unless Benfica can grab an early goal in the second
Typical. 1-1 on 55 minutes 😂
My mistake. 1-2 on 55 minutes and a winner 😂
3 goals in the first ten minutes brings in my single for today. Not seeing a massive amount of value for tomorrow so may just keep an eye here. Will point out there is a repeat fixture in the league when sporting host Benfica and goals will be worth looking at
Well done all winners today
