Tuesday’s Football Tips: Livi’s Lions should maul freefalling Airdrie

Livingston have fired themselves right back into the title mix in the SPFL Championship and have the chance to move just two points behind leaders Falkirk tonight with a win at Airdrie.

It was a great weekend for the Lions as they beat in-form Partick Thistle at Almondvale on Friday night then watched the Bairns crash 5-2 at Ayr the following day.

David Martindale's men have lost just once in the league all season but too many draws is the reason why they find themselves sitting second instead of top.

And if there's another stalemate tonight it will feel like a defeat, given Airdrie prop up the table after going without a league win since their triumph over Raith on the opening weekend.
