Thursday’s football tips: Hojlund decent value at 15/8 to tame Lyon in Europa League

It's crunch time for all three British clubs in the Europa League with their ties sitting level heading into the second leg.

Manchester United are the only ones with home advantage tonight and they will be hoping the last-gasp goal they conceded in Lyon doesn't come back to haunt them.

BoyleSports make them 4/11 hot favourites to reach the semi-finals but with both of Ruben Amorim's keepers making costly mistakes in the last two games, Lyon will fancy their chances of upsetting the odds.

Manchester United vs Lyon top betting tips

Andre Onana was taken out of the firing line by Amorim after his two blunders cost United victory in the first leg. But Altay Bayindir didn't cover himself in glory at Newcastle on Sunday, with the last of the four goals he conceded coming from another error.

Onana will return for this one but all the upheaval could be a factor so I reckon we'll see goals at both ends. BTTS is just 4/7 at BoyleSports but combining it with over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 20/21.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Hotspur top betting tips

Ange Postecoglou's job is on the line in Germany tonight as Spurs bid to keep their Europa League dream alive by knocking out Frankfurt.

I tipped Eintracht to go through before a ball was kicked because I thought their price would drop from 11/10 if they avoided defeat in the first leg.

After that 1-1 stalemate, the Bundesliga side are now 8/11 favourites to go through, with Tottenham at 21/20.

Postecoglou's side were the better team in London and should have won but were poor at the weekend as they lost 4-2 at Wolves.

We should see goals tonight as well and combining BTTS with no draw pays 6/5 at BoyleSports.

This one could get spicy and Frankfurt's Ellyes Skhiri looks overpriced at 4/1 for a ninth card this term. Doubling that up with a card for Spurs stopper Cristian Romero boosts the odds to 13/1 at BoyleSports.

Athletic Bilbao v Rangers top betting tips

Athletic Bilbao will be hoping missed chances don't come back to haunt them tonight after drawing an Ibrox blank against a Rangers side reduced to 10 men for most of the the first leg.

The Basques should have put this tie out of Rangers' reach last week but Barry Ferguson's side defended superbly and will now fancy their chances at the San Mames.

Gers have saved their best performances for big games on the road this season, scoring three or more away to Celtic, Nice and Fenerbahce. They also beat Malmo 2-0 in Sweden and drew 1-1 with Olympiakos in Greece so they look overpriced at 4/1 to qualify for the semis.

Athletic Club should dominate possession like the first leg and I fancy them to rack up a few corners. Over 7.5 flag kicks for the La Liga side is priced at 7/5 by BoyleSports.
