The race for the Premiership title took another turn yesterday with Everton's win over Arsenal in Sean Dyche's first match in charge of the Toffees.
That's opened the door for Manchester City to close the gap to just two points if they can win in north London this afternoon.
Spurs stand in their way and while they won't want to do the Gunners any favours they're involved in their own battle for a seat at Europe's top table in the Champions League. A win would take them just a point off Newcastle in fourth who were held by West Ham yesterday.
The big stat ahead of the game is that City have never scored, let alone won, at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However Spurs have lost all five matches against teams currently above them in the table. So something's got give.
Antonio Conte looks likely to miss the match as he recovers from surgery and his presence will be keenly missed on the Spurs' touchline. As if this Tottenham side weren't unpredictable enough.
The match pits the league's two top scorers against each other. Harry Kane is having a terrific season with 16 goals but is a distant second to the goal machine Erling Haaland on 25.
Kane is 13/8 (bet365) to score his what would be his 200th Premier League goal, placing him in esteemed company alongside Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer. A goal would also earn him his place in the Tottenham Hotspur history books as the clubs' greatest ever scorer, surpassing Jimmy Greaves' 267 goals for the club.
At the other end Haaland is a 4/5 shot to get his name on the scoresheet. He's scored in 18 of 31 appearances. The odds imply a 44.4% chance, but he's done it 58% of the time so there's potentially a bit of value there.
Despite their recent poor record at Spurs the visitors are 7/10 to win and you'd think they're unlikely to let the chance to close the gap on Arsenal pass them by.
With the league's top marsken on the pitch goals look guranteed. Over 2.5 goals pays 4/6.
In the Scottish Premiership Celtic have responded whenever Rangers have put them under any kind of pressure and they must do as again today to re-establish their nine point lead at the top of the table.
It's a lunchtime appointment in Perth for Ange Postecoglou's men who needed a 95th minute winner to claim all three points last time they visited St Johnstone‘s McDiarmid Park.
The Saintees haven't beaten Celtic in 25 attempts but they're seldom embarrassed on their own turf so Celtic may need to be patient once more. That's never usually a problem for the Hoops who have scored a goal after the 75th minute in 75% (9 of 12) of their away league games this season. No one in the Premiership has conceded more goals in the last 15 minutes than St Johnstone.
Best we can do at Bet365 is a goal after 77:59 at 5/6 which gives us 12 minutes plus whatever David Dickinsons adds at the end of the match.

Poor old liverpool just can’t compete with the big spenders such at Brighton, wolves, Everton …..
That’s not a very intelligent statement really is it, i get the fact Liverpool have had some silly results lately but to come out with a statement like that really does put you up there. When did we last see Brighton, Wolves or Everton in a Champions league final or even European competition. I’ll take whatever stick comes my way from rival fans or so called supporter’s we’ll call them fans as most aren’t supporters. Man Utd have spent over a billion quid yet they haven’t won a major trophy for years, next up is City they have spent similar and can’t win a Champions league title, Chelsea are another club spent even more and look where they are. Lot’s of factors this season World cup etc etc etc.
I was being ironic Macca, Liverpool and Klopp on particular go on like they’ve not spent a penny, Keita was 50 million plus, Gakpo and Nunez combined was way over 100 million, Allison and Van Dijk best part of 200 million yet he’s flogged the team to death and his short comings as a manager being exposed or is it the inhalers have run out ??? Say what you want about Pep, yes he’s had money but like you’ve said United and Chelsea prove that doesn’t buy the title – Pep is in his third rebuild at city and I’d take anyone on who bets against them winning 3 in a row now and 4 out the last 5
Sorry forgot you lot won the nett spend, we beat Man City and mentality monsters trophy too
Klopp’s probably got a touch of the over thinking lol

I left your channel about 5/6 days ago and you’ve taken ANOTHER months payment from my account today
I want it refunded today
I’ve already paid for months to lose money following you so I’d appreciate you getting this sorted asap
That must hurt… still wonder why he’s still given the “BET OF THE DAY ” …really poor run. Something like 4wins in twenty bets ….He’s a great tipster thou as soon as the paid telegram channel went up, his former took a HEAVY dip. #JstSaying
The poor rate is probably down to pressure.
When people are posting their OWN predictions here, they only post when they are backing something with their own cold hard cash.
I’ve lost track of the times I’ve seen people like Elvis, Hull, Macca, Adam (Touchdown Tips) etc say they aren’t prepared to put up NAPs as there’s nothing worth napping – which is exactly how it should be.
In contrast, if someone is paying for a tipping service, they expect tips on a regular basis. This puts added pressure on the person providing such a service.
If Greg were hitting (say) an above average success rate, people would understand a few no-bet days / losses. But if Greg’s losses really are that bad, it is surprising – he was usually spot on the mark during the early days of C19 when he was sharing his thoughts freely on here.
