Sunday’s football tips: Mo to show no mercy for reeling City

Liverpool have dropped points on their last two away days in the Premier League so they will be desperate to roar back with a win when they visit fallen champions Manchester City today.

There's no doubt the Reds have lost a bit of verve in recent weeks but there's no need for panic as they still hold a healthy lead over Arsenal at the top of the table.

Most people expected City to be in the thick of a title fight again but it has been a disastrous campaign for Pep Guardiola's men as they trail the leaders by 17 points.

Newcastle United vs Nottingham Forest top betting tips

The other Premier League game today also promises to be a cracker as Newcastle look to reel in Nottingham Forest in the battle for a top-four finish.

Forest still sit third after an incredible run this season but the Magpies would move just three points behind them with a win.

Newcastle were dismal last time out as they crashed 4-0 at Manchester City but Forest also lost 2-1 on the road at Fulham.
