Sunday’s Football Tips: Liverpool and Tottenham seek a cure for their Premier League pain at Anfield

JURGEN KLOPP'S big Liverpool farewell has become something of an anti-climax and they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at Anfield with their Premier League title hopes in tatters.

For a long time, it looked like Klopp might sign off with a stunning quadruple, but it now seems certain that, after just one win in their last five league games, he will lift only the Carabao Cup.

A promising season is also in danger of fizzling out for Tottenham, with three successive defeats leaving them seven points adrift of Aston Villa in the race for a Champions League place.

If Tottenham slip up at Anfield then Aston Villa can wrap up a Champions League place with a victory on the road at Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Seagulls are in terrible form, taking just two points from their last six games, but Villa will be on a downer after crashing to Olympiacos in their Europa Conference League semi-final.

That makes me think Brighton could be worth a punt today at 37/20 with BetMGM. It's another game that promises goals and Seagulls top scorer Joao Pedro looks good at 6/5 with Paddy Power to score or assist.

Chelsea vs West Ham United

It has been a rollercoaster season for Chelsea but they appear to be on the up again heading into this London derby with West Ham.

Thursday's 2-0 victory over Tottenham lifted the Blues about David Moyes' men into eighth place in the race for a European place.

The short turnaround for this game could have an effect though and the Hammers might get some joy at Stamford Bridge. Mohammed Kudus is always a threat for West Ham and BetVictor price him at evens just for a shot on target.

Rangers vs Kilmarnock

Rangers will be desperate to avoid a slip-up at home to Kilmarnock ahead of their trip to Celtic Park next week for an SPFL Premiership title decider.

Killie have been so solid all season and pretty much have fourth place and a European place in the bag already. They are a tough team to break down so I fancy a Rangers win with under 3.5 goals at 6/5 with Bet365.

Striker Cyriel Dessers has scored three times in his last two games for Rangers and is evens at SkyBet to keep that run going.
