A top four finish might be beyond Manchester United but they could have big say on the destination of the Premier League trophy come May.
The Red Devils host Arsenal two games before the end of the season and today they’d love nothing more than to put a dent in Liverpool’s title challenge at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag will be looking for a repeat of their epic 4-3 extra-time FA Cup win over the Reds a few weeks ago rather than their disastrous 4-3 defeat to Chelsea in midweek.
That loss equalled United’s record number of defeats in a Premier League season and patience is starting to wear thin with the Dutchman in some quarters.
He can stave off some of that criticism with a win today but the bookies make his side as big as 4/1 to get a result.
Jurgen Klopp’s impending departure means there’s even more at stake for this Liverpool squad who’ll be desperate to send him off in style. That fire has been evident in recent weeks, especially at Anfield and they can exploit United’s vulnerabilities this afternoon at 3/5.
Some of Manchester United’s games have been chaotic this season, they’ve been involved in five matches than have ended up with a 4-3 scoreline (if you include that cup win over Liverpool), a 3-3 draw, a 4-2 and three 3-2s.
Late goals have been a feature of most of those and no club has scored more late goals in the league than Liverpool this season. With that in mind there’s a few options; back two or more second half goals for the Reds at 11/8 or either team to score after the 82:59 at 5/6.
Mo Salah has scored 13 in 14 appearances against Manchester United, a record that means he’s just 5/6 to score today. However he is 1/1 to have two or mroe shots on target.
Things could hardly be tighter at the top of the Scottish Premiership and today’s clash at Ibrox between Rangers and Celtic could be pivotal in the title race.
Celtic go in to the match one point ahead having played a game more and with the prospect of another Glasgow Derby on their own turf after the league split.
That makes a draw for Brendan Rodgers side a more than acceptable result.
A win for Rangers would cap a remarkable turnaround under Phillipe Clement, who took over a Gers side which was seven points behind their rivals, but the Belgian may feel that a draw would suit him too. That would keep Rangers’ destiny in their own hands.
The Hoops have won the previous two meetings this season and for one of the few times this season have a fully fit squad to chose from. Captain Callum McGregor may not be risked from the start but Reo Hatate and Cameron Carter Vickers add some quality to Celtic’s spine.
Kyogo Furahshi has popped up with seven goals against Rangers and he’s showed some recent signs of getting back to his best. The Japanese striker is 2/1 to net this lunchtime.
It’s hard to look past James Tavernier for Rangers goals. He’s the main man from the spot and free-kicks and already has 15 for the season. At 3/1 he’s as good a chance as anyone.
The hosts appear to be attracting the money and will go off around 6/5 whilst the Bhoys have drifted slightly to 21/10.
With so little between the sides and still a bit of football still to be played this season it could be a match both are more interested in not losing rather than going all out to win. With that in mind the draw must come in to play at 13/5.

Some brilliant tipping from the tipsters and users yesterday well done all winners.
Today I will be heading to Denmark for my single where I’m expecting to see plenty of goals. Bet of the day has already covered one game and I will be focussing on another.
Nordsjaelland host Copenhagen and I’m expecting plenty of goals.
Of the last 5 h2hs 4 have seen btts+o2.5.
Recent form has seen the home side hit the same in 4 of 5 while Copenhagen have seen o2.5 in 4/5 and btts in 3 of them.
O2.5 only pays 8/13 which is ok for an acca but I’ll be on btts + o2.5 @10/11

PREMIER LEAGUE
Looking at today’s matches yet again the odds are truly awful on goal lines etc and for this reason I’m going against the market. Wouldn’t put anyone on going under 3.5 match goals in any of the 3 prem games at around 1/1. I’ll be taking player fouls from Man U v Lpool for my main picks at paddy power. Can see the fill in for United CB chalking up a few against Liverpool today

Fiorentina have recorded multiple bookings in 9/10 domestic matches. Juventus have hit four corners in last nine domestic home games.
