We’ve reached the stage of the season where every match is crucial for most teams. On Sunday, we’ll see another chapter in the race for the Scudetto, as well as several teams fighting for survival.
Genoa and Sassuolo will kick off the action early in the day, followed by huge matches featuring Napoli and Inter Milan.
Don’t miss any of the Serie A action with our expert tips and predictions for all four fixtures.
Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Genoa vs. Sassuolo (11:30am)
Genoa and Sassuolo are in very different situations. The hosts have not yet secured their place in the league, while Sassuolo have nothing left to play for except finishing as high as possible.
Genoa are too inconsistent a team to be trusted blindly. In early March, they played two great matches, but then failed to score a single goal in the next two. Still, they are much more consistent at home than on the road, so we’ll trust them to score at least one goal.
Sassuolo aren’t playing badly overall, but they concede a lot of goals, which works in our favor in this match. What’s more, nine of the last 10 matches between the two teams have featured at least one goal at each end.

Parma vs. Napoli (2pm)
Napoli are the team in the best form in Serie A and are making a late push to defend their title, sitting seven points behind Inter with seven rounds remaining.
Parma are safe from relegation but in very poor form, having failed to win in their last five matches. They are still among the three lowest-scoring teams in the league, so it’s hard to expect much against Napoli, for whom every match is a matter of life and death right now.
Parma failed to score in four of their last five H2Hs against Napoli. We really like the idea of an away win and under 2.5 goals, but the goal market is somewhat redundant given the decent odds for a straight win. Only play it if you’re looking for higher odds.
Parma vs. Napoli top betting tip: Napoli to win
Bologna vs. Lecce (5pm)
With seven rounds remaining, it would be an incredible achievement if Bologna could break into the top six. It will be interesting to see what they have planned with the tough rematch they have to play in the Europa League next week.
Lecce will be fighting for survival until the final round, as they are currently level on points with Cremonese, who are just above the relegation zone. It’s interesting that Bologna have been one of the weakest home teams this season, whereas in recent years we’ve gotten used to seeing them dominate at home.
This match is an opportunity for that to change, because history is on their side, at least in head-to-head matches against Lecce. Bologna have won eight of their last 10 home games against the Salentini, and in the last three, they also didn’t concede.
Bologna vs. Lecce top betting tip: Bologna to win
Como vs. Inter Milan (7:45pm)
Como are just a few weeks away from securing a historic spot in the Champions League, but their biggest test is yet to come: Inter Milan, who are chasing the league title.
Como haven’t lost in nearly two months; prior to last week’s surprising draw, they had five consecutive wins in Serie A. Inter crushed Roma in the last round, ending a three-game winless streak. It is precisely this inconsistency that has prevented them from securing the title already, and they cannot afford any more mistakes because Napoli are breathing down their necks.
As much as we like Como, the team hasn’t beaten Inter since 1985. Earlier in the season, they lost 4-0, and recently drew 0-0 in their cup match. We’ll say right off the bat that this is an extremely risky prediction, and we recommend skipping it if you’re looking for a match for a big bet. Bet on this as a single only, because we’re basing it solely on Inter’s poor away form over the past month.
