We have four more exciting clashes to look forward to on Sunday, but all eyes will undoubtedly be on El Clasico, which will round off the round of fixtures.

Before we see the first derby of the season, we’ve got matches featuring Athletic Bilbao, Real Betis and Real Sociedad, with the latter two deeply involved in the battle for a top-four spot.

Below, you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for all La Liga matches on Sunday.

Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions

Athletic Bilbao vs. Getafe (1pm)

There is no trace left of the strong season Getafe enjoyed; since the start of this one, they have managed just three wins in 13 matches across all competitions.

Athletic Bilbao will look to capitalise on this poor form, although they have another problem of their own – scoring goals.

These are the two teams with the lowest-scoring matches in the league, and given their recent form, I reckon we’ll see a rather tight contest without much goal-scoring action.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Getafe top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals

Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis (3:15pm)

Real Betis’s last match showed that they are not quite ready to take on the very best yet, but their standard is certainly higher than that of most other teams.

Celta Vigo are in good form and have recorded some impressive wins in recent weeks; it’s remarkable just how many goals they’re scoring.

I believe this is the match that could turn out to be the highlight of the round. I expect goals at both ends and would rather avoid picking a winner.

Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis top betting tip: BTTS, Over 2.5 goals

Real Sociedad vs. Levante (5:30pm)

Real Sociedad are another side from whom we can always expect a lot, given their results in recent weeks. In the last few days, they beat Malaga 5-2 and then Lillestrom 6-0 in the Europa League.

In La Liga, they have won three consecutive matches, scoring three or more goals in each. Their defence is far from perfect; had they not been so clinical in front of goal, they would be much lower down the table.

Levante have also shown surprising clinicality in the final third, scoring 10 goals in their last five matches. In my opinion, it’s worth looking for goals here too.

Real Sociedad vs. Levante top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals

Barcelona vs. Real Madrid (8pm)

The 265th El Clasico arrives at a time when both Barcelona and Real Madrid are in phenomenal form. Consequently, the odds on goals in this match are scandalously low – 3/20 for over 2.5 is something you don’t see every day.

These are two genuine goal-scoring machines, and there’s no doubt that a spectacular show is on the cards. When it comes to form, however, Barcelona are far more impressive at home than Real Madrid are away, and that’s probably where the key lies.

I’m going to focus on a bet on the goalscorer, though, as the returning Raphinha appeals to me quite a lot as an option. The Brazilian has scored seven goals in his last seven matches against Real Madrid.

Barcelona vs. Real Madrid top betting tip: Raphinha to score anytime
