Man City's stalemate with Southampton was the biggest loser for punters after Pep's side went off around 1/8. In the championship top-of-the-table Fulham were as short as 1/3 to win at home to Reading but lost 2-1, second-placed West Brom also failed to win and in Scotland Hibs (4/7) lost a late equaliser to St Mirren and unbeaten Inverness were held at struggling Dunfermline. It'll be a day of celebration at Ibrox as the league champions flag is unfurled and Motherwell will be aiming to spoil the party. As a Celtic fan I’m shocked at so many would bet them on a plastic pitch as their record is woeful.
Well they have been to Hamilton and Killie plenty times and won.I for one want Livvy relegated i hate false pitches.
Plenty of points dropped at those places too, but especially Livi!!
Tns have a plastic pitch in our Welsh league, and have had for years.
Teams are known to write their games off there as they are a better team and throw in the rug they play on that teams aren’t used to and it’s almost impossible to win there.
Like Sutton have had to do by uprooting their rug, all teams in full time leagues should be playing on the same surface for fairness more than anything.
correct me if i,m wrong here as i don,t compete professionally, but surely long hours of training/ taking part in events, we get used to all sorts of underfoot conditions and adapt eventually.
