Two teams in need of a Scottish Premiership victory meet at Easter Road tonight as Hibernian host Kilmarnock.
Hibs sit eighth after winning two and losing three of their opening five league games of the season.
However, David Gray did ease some of the pressure on him at the weekend, steering his side into the Scottish League Cup semi-finals with a 3-0 win at Ross County.
Kilmarnock have had an even tougher start and arrive in the capital bottom of the table without a league victory.
Neil McCann is also feeling the heat after his side went out of the cup on penalties to Aberdeen at the weekend.
Hibs are heavy odds-on favourites here, but I’m more interested in a player-based bet that offers value.
Josh Mulligan looks worth backing to hit the target at least once at 5/6 with bet365.
The Hibs midfielder is an all-action presence who regularly gets forward and has no hesitation in getting a shot away.
His 12 attempts are more than any other Hibs player has managed in the Scottish Premiership this season.
Moreover, Mulligan also worked the Hearts goalkeeper twice in his side’s last home league game.
Kilmarnock have been leaking goals at an alarming rate this season and have faced a whopping average of 18.00 shots per game across their opening five league matches.
With Hibs likely to spend plenty of time on the front foot at Easter Road, Mulligan looks well placed to register at least one shot on target.
