The Aston Villa ace has contributed a quietly impressive 15 goal involvements across his 23 Premier League appearances this season so far.
Five of those goal contributions have arrived across Watkins’ previous five top-flight outings, so he should come into the clash brimming with confidence.
On top of that, the England international helped himself to both a goal and an assist during Aston Villa’s 4-2 victory over Celtic in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
That doesn’t augur well for a relegation-threatened Wolves side that have been shipping goals at an alarming rate this season.
