SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Fulham's clash with Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Fulham vs Tottenham (Saturday, 17:30)
London rivals Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur face off in the Premier League at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening.
I’ve already penned a separate match preview on this all-capital clash but I’ve since constructed another Bet Builder that holds plenty of appeal.
Coupling up Tottenham to Score two or more goals alongside Joao Palhinha to commit a foul will bring about an eye-catching 5/6 shot on Sky Bet.
Tottenham have become a real attacking force to be reckoned with under Ange Postecoglou’s management, with only title-chasing trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City managing to outscore Spurs in the top-flight this term to date.
What’s more, Postecoglou’s potent attack have netted multiple goals in a league-high 21 of their 27 Premier League assignments this season so far.
Across that stretch of games, Spurs have struck twice or more in 11 of their 13 top-flight road games, a sample that includes visits to the likes of Arsenal, Man City and most recently Aston Villa.
With that in mind, coupled with the fact that Fulham have conceded a minimum of two goals in three of their last six league games, I'm more than happy to back Spurs to strike twice on Saturday evening.
For the second and final leg of the Bet Builder, I’ll go with Fulham’s Joao Palhinha to commit a minimum of one foul during this all-London affair.
Having already racked up 11 cards whilst averaging 1.7 fouls per-game in the top-flight this season, the Portuguese midfielder continues to be one of the Premier League’s most prolific hatchet men.
What’s more, Palhinha has been penalised at least once in all bar two his 23 Premier League appearances this season thus far, so he has to be fancied to get on the wrong side of the referee at least once here given the ferocious attacking threat that Tottenham carry.
Recommended Bet
- Tottenham 2+ Goals
- Joao Palhinha To Commit 1+ Fouls
- Bet Builder – 5/6 (SkyBet)
