SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Chelsea's Premier League showdown with London rivals Tottenham on Super Sunday.
Chelsea vs Tottenham (Sunday, 16:30)
Chelsea and Tottenham go toe-to-toe for the third time this month when the pair meet in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues made light work of their London rivals in the Carabao Cup semi-finals but their top flight title hopes are in tatters, with Thomas Tuchel's team triumphing in just one of their last seven league fixtures.
In stark contrast, Spurs will return to the Bridge riding the crest of a wave after dramatically extending their unbeaten Premier League run under Antonio Conte to nine matches with a manic 3-2 win at Leicester in midweek, in a game which brought up both of my suggested selections.
The visitors' recent league form suggests they're more than capable of keeping this capital clash competitive and it's the 5/6 (SkyBet) available on each team to hit 3+ corners and each team to receive 10+ booking points that makes appeal.
Unsurprisingly, Chelsea have been strong corner performers so far this season, averaging a sizeable 6.39 flagkicks per-game, a figure that shoots up to 7.45 when conducting their business at their west London base.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have upped their attacking output under Antonio Conte's tutorship, with the Lilywhites earning a shade under six corners per 90 minutes and comfortably covering the 3+ line in each of their last eight league outings.
With that in mind, coupled with the likelihood of a decent degree of goalmouth action here, three corners apiece doesn't look like too much to ask of two clubs right in the thick of the race for a top-four finish.
Given that there's little love lost between these familiar foes, I'll round off the Bet Builder by backing each side to receive a minimum of 10+ booking points.
Both sides are averaging north of 1.5 yellow cards per-game this season, not to mention referee Paul Tierney is dishing out a shade under four cards per 90 , with the top tier whistler awarding both sides at least one booking in all but one of his 16 Premier League assignments this season thus far.
With all things considered, coupled with the fact that the aforementioned combination has clicked in three of Chelsea's last four league games, the 5/6 (SkyBet) on each team to hit 3+ corners and each team to receive 10+ booking points makes plenty of appeal given that we have all the necessary ingredients required for an action-packed all-London affair.
