On top of all that, Sancet scored the opening goal of the game at home to Rangers in the Europa League last Thursday night, meaning he now has two goals and two assists when on continental duty this term.
While Las Palmas will be buoyed by their weekend triumph over Atletico Madrid, it was just their fourth clean sheet from 32 attempts in La Liga this season.
It's also worth noting that Diego Martinez’s men have failed to keep the back door shut in 15 of their 16 La Liga games away from their Canary Islands base this season, further suggesting that the aforementioned Sancet can continue his rich vein of form in front of goal.
