THINGS may be quieting down due to the international break but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of matches to look at on Tuesday.

Two teams who I've been backing at home for goals for a good few years now in the Scottish Reserve league are both in action on Tuesday. Ross County host Dunfermline  and Dundee United welcome Hearts.

Both home sides see an incredible number of goals in their home games and we also have a full National league card and 16 matches from the English Football League Trophy (good luck picking winners out of those games, stick with goals)

Ross County Reserves vs Dunfermline Reserves (1pm)

When County play at home more often than not at least 4 goals are scored and this season has been no different. 10 of their last 11 have seen over 2.5 goals with 7 of their last 10 going over 3.5

The play a Dunfermline side who are struggling in this league and its worth noting the quality of player at Dunfermline won't be anywhere near that of County's especially with the pars playing championship football. They've lost 4 of their 5 games and I don't see that record improving.

Dundee United Reserves vs Hearts Res (2pm)

The Dundee side have been a goal getters dream over the last 212 months with 10 of their last 11 matches seeing over 3.5 goals  (46 goals scored) They usually field a strong starting 11 at home and that shows with 4-1 and 5-2 victories against good Killie and Motherwell sides.

Hearts themselves have enjoyed a great start to the season and lead the way after 4 rounds of fixtures with 4 wins from 4 and a cup victory to add to that. (3-1 3-1 1-3 3-2 2-1)

Interestingly 4 of their 5 games have come at home so will be interesting to see how they fair on the road today. Fully expecting both sides to score

Be keen to see teams news – keep an eye out on Twitter around an hour before kick off.

Recommended Bets:

  • Over 1.5 first half goals
  • Over 3.5 match goal

Prices will appear in the morning (Bet365)

National League Goals Special:

11 matches from the National league – the midweek fixtures have been good to punters backing goals

Taking the 29+ total goals  5/6  (Skybet) (NAP) – some great looking fixtures for goals from this card  – it won't be far away

  • Fylde vs Chesterfield
  • Ebbsfleet vs Torquay
  • Halifax vs Chorley

Also worth some loose change on over 0.5 first half goals 50/1 and over 1.5 match goals at 18/1

Afternoon Greg I was thinking of backing County and btts and likewise with Utd but I suppose team news with regards how strong a side they filed face would sway this agree?
