KILMARNOCK suddenly have a challenge for fourth place in the Premiership with St Mirren breathing down their necks. But they can go to Paisley and secure it with a win.

Saints have to catch up three points on the Ayrshire game with three games left, and they could open the door with a win after Killie's controversial defeat at Rangers last week and the Saints' excellent win on Tayside against Dundee,

However, Kilmarnock have been ultra-consistent this season and have not lost to any team outside Rangers in the league since the start of December.

One of the real markers they put down this season was last month when St Mirren took a two-goal lead at Rugby Park at half-time.

But Killie roared back with a five-goal second-half blitz, and that must still be on the minds of the Saints players. They've also already won in Paisley this season.

And they look too big at 7/4 with McBookie.com to record their second victory of the season in Renfrewshire.

LIVINGSTON were relegated last week and the pressure was off…unlike for their opponents on Saturday when St Johnstone visit West Lothian.

And they are worth backing at a big price of 19/10 with McBookie.com to score two goals or more against a Saints side who are bereft of confidence.

Livingston ended up losing 4-1 last week at Motherwell and went down with a whimper on paper. But they missed a couple of great chances, had what looked like a good goal disallowed and had a harsh penalty against them.

Of course, there is always the possibility they could down tools, but most of David Martindale's squad are playing for a new contract for next season's Championship squad.

And how often have you seen doomed teams suddenly playing well when the pressure is off?

St Johnstone look in serious trouble. They struggle badly to score goals and give up plenty of chances and Livingston can take advantage.

STIRLING ALBION simply have to beat Dumbarton to have a chance of staying in League One and they can do it at Forthbank at 17/20 in the play-off semi-final, with McBookie.com.

The Binos needed to beat Annan Athletic last week to avoid the play-offs, but could only draw. They were the better side in midweek at The Rock, only to fall to a late goal.

They have been producing plenty of chances and are due to click soon. It could be on Saturday against the League Two side.
