The Erik ten Hag transformation is well under way at Old Trafford. However, it faces the ultimate test this lunchtime with the visit of Manchester City who ripped them apart earlier in the season.
United were 6-1 down and staring into the abyss after 64 minutes at the Etihad back in October but they saved some face in the closing half-hour, ending up with a slightly more respectable 6-3 loss.
The Dutchman has somehow managed to galvanise the club since then and is slowly moulding them in to a team capable of competing again. A win would take them within a point of City so there's plenty of added incentive if any was needed.
Pep Guardiola got his fingers burnt in midweek when he rested key men at Southampton which led to a quarter-final exit in the Carabao Cup. Even at full strength City haven't been firing on all cylinders of late and must be heading in this game with some trepadation.
That said, City have the quality to embarass any team in the world but this feels as close as it's been for a while between these sides. At 16/5 the home win looks a bet as does the even money available at SBK on United Double Chance.
Wolves look in better shape under Julen Lopetegui and actually look like scoring goals. Their only two defeats (not including their penalty shoot-out loss in midweek) in their last eight have come against Arsenal and Man Utd so confidence is growing at Molineux despite being second bottom of the table. They look due a win and at 7/4 it could come today against West Ham who haven't won a league game since October.
The top two in the Championship look good acca material this afternoon.
Fresh from their cup exploits last weekend Burnley (4/6) can keep up their good league form with a win over Coventry who suffered an early exit from the FA Cup at the hands of National League side Wrexham.
Sheffield United sit second in the table. They've tasted defeat just once in the last 11 league games and have some serious momentum at the moment. The Blades are 4/5 to overcome 18th place Stoke City at Bramall Lane.
In Scotland it's Scottish League Cup semi-final weekend, the first of which is at Hampden tonight where Celtic and Kilmarnock vie for a place in February's final.
The Hoops are just about as short as they've been all season at just 1/8 to win. They dominated last weekend's meeting between the sides and have a fantastic record at the national stadium. There's little value to be had in this one, even in the cards market where Kyle Lafferty is a meagre 8/11 to be booked. Instead look to his teammate Alan Power. The gritty Irishman puts himself about in these games and looks much better value to go in to Willie Collum's notebook at 7/5.
In the Premiership, Hibernian are a crazy 7/10 to beat Dundee Utd. Last week's 3-2 win ended a run of nine defeats in 11 for the Hibees and but for the form of striker Kevin Nisbet, Lee Johnson could've been out the door this week. The hitman notched an excellent hat-trick last weekend but if United can keep him quiet there could be something in this game for them. The Terrors have upped their game since the break and deserve a bit more respect than the 4/1 on offer. 11/10 on the United Double Chance makes plenty of appeal.
St Johnstone also look vulnerable at home to Livingston. The Saintees have lost their last four and it's a chance for Livi to go seven points ahead of their hosts in the battle for the top six. It won't be a thriller at McDiarmid Park but the visitors could just edge it at 11/5.
The least said about Motherwell‘s home form the better. They're seven without a win all-in now and although it's still early in the season today's match against Ross County feels like a six-pointer. County aren't any better. They've won just 1 point from last 24 and managed just 5 goals in 10 away from home. However you couldn't be backing ‘Well against anyone at 3/4 on current form. Three aways in the Premiership pays a tempting 71/1 which might be worth a quid.
In the Championship there should be goals at Inverness where league leaders Queen's Park are the visitors. Over 2.5 Goals is 8/11. Likewise Partick Thistle‘s trip to Dundee should also yield goals. Both side need to cling on to Queen's Park's coattails so it should be an open match at Dens Park where Over 2.5 Goals is 4/5.
Further down the divisions Dunfermline and Falkirk look banker material at home to the detached bottom two of Peterhead and Clyde respectively. Beware of piling in to goals however, Dunfermline's matches have the lowest average goals tally in Scotland at just 2.05 per game.

Today's Racing Tips
Saturday is a competitive day of racing and Cairnzy has picked out his sole selection for the day, a 10/1 e/w shot at Warwick
As always, let us know your best betting tips and predictions for today in the comments section below and good luck with all your bets!
Wolves v West Ham
Massive game this. A real 6 pointer.
I’d say being at home it’s a must win for us. West Ham will see it as a must not lose.
We have Lemina confirmed as a new signing. He is likely in the squad. We have Joao Gomes, Saribia and Dawson close to being done. The latter had upset David Moyes……. We had the deal agreed in the summer…… we’ve gone back in for him this transfer window. Shocking that we’ve bid on a player in a transfer window 🤦🏻♂️
Anyways tough game but we do have more bite and grit under Lopetegui.
I fancy both to score. I fancy some cards as it’ll likely be a fiery affair and we may have rattled David Moyes.
Over 1.5 goals and 1+ card each team – 10/11 NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wolves win, btts, 4+ wolves corners and 20bp’s each team. 19/1 🙏🏼
Sorry to clog the thread up with this but a poster at the end of Fridays thread made a snidey comment aimed at me pointing out that I don’t fully repost all my losing bets which seems to be a problem to him.
To be fair he is correct, I don’t like losing, I try to forget it and move on to the next bet.
So in future I will post my bets and leave it at that and not repost them win or lose, I’m sure everyone will know how they have done by checking results anyhow.
Good luck with your punts today peeps 👍
Elvis, it’s your choice what you decide but you shouldn’t let one poster affect you or change your way – just ignore him. The regulars on the site know you and appreciate you and all your tips.
I’ve said before I am relatively new to the site and don’t know all the history, but this Loveit guy sounds to me like that guy that comes up as the Indian guru or French expert or whichever persona discovers every time. I could very well be wrong, but that’s what he looks like to me.
Just ignore him and keep up with the good work.
Elvis everyone knows the job and commitment you show to this platform and am sure many as I do appreciate it. I too don’t post my failed predictions but that should not mean you are not honorable or don’t own up to them it shows you want to move on and focus onto the next one, who wants to go back to a lost slip anyway? Haters will hate and all kind of opinions will be put against but everyone has his style tell that lad to post at least one write up so that he can yap whatever he want.
Elvis, reposting wins/losses or not does not make much of a difference to me. I place bets according to your bets, whenever I see them before the start of a game. So I usually know whether your bet won or lost.
It’s the bets that matter, keep them coming, I appreciate them!
Hi elvis, I don’t post very often but I am a long term reader of this site for many years, just wanted to let you know that you’ve been posting your tips and results the same way for years mate and no one has had a problem with it so there really isn’t a need to change it because of one person’s comment, keep the same style mate as I enjoy reading the tips even if I’ve missed the bet I like to see if it has won or not which I do when reading over the thread so it is perfect the way your doing it, keep up the great work mate, love reading your tips and all the regulars on here and there are loads of people like myself who don’t always post often but we very much appreciate all the research that you guys put in to make this site interesting and worthwhile. Many thanks Cottweiler
Head up Elvis mate, you win far more than you lose, a bet is a bet win or lose. Appreciate your tips. 👍
anything b4 chester Elvis
Elvis! Don’t be a drama queen. You can’t win them all otherwise we’d all be a millionaire. I think I speak for most when I say you’re one of the tipsters I look out for the most on here. Don’t let one naysayer rattle you. PS – keep up the good work!
Dude….. don’t let some little tit who I’ve never seen post on here influence what you do and how you do it.
Some people just survive to irritate and aggravate mate.
Elvis am one of ur follower on this platform and I think majority of people that knows u on this platform have spoken and that says a lot about ur hardwork to post winners for all. We dont expect to win all bets but we know u post more winners than losers and we will ride with u all day win or lose. Please forget that one person that knows nothing about gambling to rattle u. Continue with d way u have been posting and we are ok with. Please and please dont ur time to post losers cos we all know it and only looking for ur next post which most likely are winners. Sometimes u even confidently post double up our bets one games u are too sure on. We are with u Elvis win or lose. My advice to that fellow is simple, go pay an handicapper for tips and see how many u win then u will appreciate Elvis more.
When you miss a putt or say a pot at snooker the good players move on !

Take the stance some of the Admin team take. They put up their selection and leave it at that,
Does not matter whether the selection is a winner or not, No self praise, No relentless excuses of being a corner shot, goal short, red card spoiled it etc. works both ways.
Everyone on this site knows they have a very impressive prediction rate without them reminding us of the fact
only an honest opinion , thats all..
Yeah boabee.
Think that’s best.
If I remember to comment in my bets whether they win/lose I try. But 99.9% of the time mine are for my team and I try and be as objective as I can.
But when we win I’m getting drunk and celebrating. When we lose I’m drowning my sorrows.
I think everyone should post how they want to post.
Elvis, check out this from the movie Revolver, I have just copy and pasted it for you.
————————–
“There is something about yourself
that you don’t know.
Something that you will deny even exists
until it’s too late to do anything about it.
It’s the only reason you get up in the morning,
the only reason you suffer the shitty boss,
the blood, the sweat and the tears.
This is because you want people to know
how good, attractive, generous, funny,
wild and clever you really are.
“Fear or revere me,
but please think I’m special.”
We share an addiction.
We’re approval junkies.
We’re all in it for the slap on the back
and the gold watch.
The “hip, hip, hoo-f***ing-rah.”
Look at the clever boy
with the badge, polishing his trophy.
Shine on, you crazy diamond.
Cos we’re just monkeys wrapped in suits,
begging for the approval of others.
If we knew this, we wouldn’t do this.”

The above is so true Elvis we as humans are validation junkies but there is literally nothing we can do to stop it. It is our conditioning in life.
Don’t worry about it you just do you and keep posting your wins. Have you ever investigated who is the one who is upset ? The one you refer to as “me” above …investigate who this “me” is. You will discover it is a false sense of self conditioned upon us. The above movie is all about the false sense of self aka The Ego. We can learn so much from it.
Good luck with your picks today bud 👍

posted this double last week at 14.75/1 it’s now 11.4/1 said the prices would come in.
Darwin Nunez is now said to be injured and Trossard has apparently been ousted from the squad after an argument with a team mate and refusal to sign a new contract.
Best of luck for today.
Yes Macca, great shout on United. I put them in my WDW treble due to your tip. Cheers mate.
You don’t need to do a treble when they are 3/1,well done glad you followed.

Just to add to the Debate & put the cat among the pigeons. Nobody should re-post a winner. We’ve all seen the original post & we can go back & check it ourselves or see the amount of likes ♥ to determine if it was a successful tip. Nobody likes an attention seeking, boastful, bragger! Good morning, guys,
Today’s punt comes from the German 3 Liga match
VfL Osnabruck vs Viktoria Koln which kicks off at 13:00
BTTS & over 2.5 match goals @ 21/20 with Bet365
Good luck with all bets today!!!!
WINNER – Done and dusted on 37 mins, 2-1 to Osnabruck.
Hills SOTD- place the £10 on Man.u. game goal to be scored and get £5 freebie. Also cover the £10 with a bet build of no goal in any half with a £1 @ 11/1. You could stick £5 on the bet build which insures a £5 win.
Always better to cover with NO GOALSCORER instead of under 0.5 goals or 0:0 correct score.
Reason: If someone does score an own goal and game ends 1:0 or 0:1, both the < 0.5 goals & 0:0 final score bets will LOSE.
However, own goals do NOT count as goals scored for most bookies and so the NO GOALSCORER will still be a winner.
Learned that great strategy from the legendary genius Mr F 👍 😉
Just had a read through today’s thread and comments – for what its worth, here’s what I think.
The forum isn’t perfect but in the grand scheme of things going on around us these days, it aint a bad place and doesn’t have too much wrong with it the way it is.
So let’s just keep things as they are, don’t anyone change the way they post/don’t post winners and losers. It works just fine and nobody is ramming anything down anyone’s neck – if they do then 99% of folk on here are smart enough to know what is going on.
Keep on keeping on as Dylan said
Best of luck today 👍
Well said dude.
The world has many knobs in it that are best ignored.
Keep on keeping on is a good one. I like that.
Had you said “keep right on” then I’d like it not so much……. But that’s a midlands thing 😂😂😂
He he – clever Rich
I totally agree with u Hullshaker another winning tipster on d platform.
Funny lot you West Midlanders Rich 😂
Good luck today!
Hahaha Hull were certainly funny in the midlands 😂😂😂
Huge game for us today. For me it’s the biggest of the season so far.

Doing absolutely crap at the moment, so keeping it simple and hoping my luck changes. On another note, I’ve just read Elvis’s post and to be honest I wouldn’t let it bother you mate. I’m a Bus Driver in Manchester and I deal with clowns every day. Me personally, I think that there life must be that shit at home that they try and spoil somebody else’s.
Just to add, virtually all online sites have tróIIs – some more so than others e.g. Twítter, Facébook et al.
This site is different because it’s a Community.
Yes, someone sometimes makes a fáux pas & has the proverbíal taken out of them – but in a ‘fun’ way. And yes, there’s occassionally a little team rívalry.
But, take a step back & you’ll soon notice the shít is always started by outsiders who seldom post here (often, in fact, the same poster(s) using different account names)
TróIIs are sad little lósers who are jéalous of others. Their only source of pleasure is trying to wínd up decent people respected by our Community. Just ignore the tróIIs & they will either get bored or banned. It’s that simple.
And that’s all you need to know really 👍😉
I don’t understand what makes trolls tick 🤦🏻♂️
Who has that kind of time on their hands?
Can’t have a site like this without banter and football rivalry. Makes the world go around.
Do wish the trolls would go forth and multiply though 😜
Spot on Chris 👍
Chris . I think the own goals count as goals mate . They would not count only if you had a named goal scorer . I might be wrong though . GL today
I think that’s what Chris is saying Cocker, go down the no goal scorer route rather than 0-0 score.
Cocker, as Mr F said at the time, rules may vary from bookie to bookie. But the rules applies for the majority of ‘household name’ ones. For example:
Betfair: “I placed a bet on the first goalscorer but the first goal was an own goal. What will happen to my bet? If the first goal is an own goal it does not count as a goal for settlement purposes of 1st goalscorer and subsequent markets attached to it. All bets on 1st goalscorer will therefore be settled on the 2nd goal.”
PaddyPower: “If the first goal is an own goal it does not count as a goal for settlement purposes. All bets on first goalscorer will therefore be settled on the next goal scored. Own goals do not effect the settlement of any bets placed on correct score or other related markets”
So, as I mentioned, if you backed the <0.5 goals or 0:0 markets & the game ended with a single own-goal, you would LOSE.
But, if you had instead backed the 'no first goalscorer' market, the own goal would NOT have counted & your bet would be a winner.
Took me a while to get my head around it, but Mr F was a fountain of knowledge & 100% spot on.
Maybe Chris , but if the Manc derby ends up 1-0 to either team and that goal is an own goal then your bet with Hills as a goal scored will be a winner as you are betting on a goal scored and not on a named goal scorer ?
Forget that last post Chris . I`m still half asleep mate .

Good afternoon everyone
I read this forum everyday to look at the tips that are posted and follow elvis, macca, chelseagirl and others. I often use their thoughts to make up bets.
If l post its usually on a Saturday in the English non league and mostly it loses so my advice would be “Don’t follow my tips.” But please keep posting yours.
Anyway it’s FA Trophy day in England and a minefield as the big clubs often field vastly changed teams so I’m staying away and have gone for a very uninspiring home double of

I lived in Scarbados for a few years in the 90s and used to watch The Seadogs at the old McCain Stadium.
They lost their way for many years after exiting the football league courtesy of THAT Jimmy Glass goal for Carlisle – for those that don’t remember it, it’s worth a read:

It sparked a sad demise for Scabby so it’s great to see them on the up and going good guns again – I fancy them to grab a few against Blyth’s Spartans today…

Celtic v Kilmarnock (League Cup semi-final)
———————————————————-
Hard to spot any value here but I think I have in the bookings market.
Cameron Carter Vickers to be booked – 9/2
Alistair Johnston to be booked – 11/2
(b365 prices)
Willie Collum is the perfect ref here, loves a card, and this game sold be a lot feistier than last weekend’s stroll in the (Celtic) park. I expect Killie to be much more aggressive here with so much more at stake and less pressure on them.
Lafferty and Power are the obvious ones to pick up bookings For Killie but they’re short prices (albeit Power at 6/4 isn’t the worst price in the world). But I expect Celtic to pick up a card or two as well, and CCV and AJ are the ones I like here.
Willie Collum has already booked CCV 3 times, in just 6 matches he’s officiated. Thats a 50% booking strike rate, and would be Evens if you converted that to a bookmaker odds. Of course it doesn’t work that way but still he should be nowhere near as big as 9/2. Thats cracking value for me.
Even better in my opinion is the 11/2 on Johnston picking up a card. This is only his 3rd start for the hoops and he’s yet to pick up a booking, but it can’t be far away. The boy loves a tackle, we saw that in the World Cup and so far he’s been putting in plenty of challenges for Celtic. 11/2 looks really big to me and I can’t resist having a decent bet on this.
GL if you’re having a bet.
Like the look of Johnston baldy GL
Latest score Dartford 1 Hemel Hempstead 1, sorry couldn’t resist 😞.
Latest here in a freezing, wet Chester is 1-0 to Curzon, Chester are playing s**t.
About 30-40 Curzon fans seem happy enough though.

Stockport v Northampton Sat 3pm
In the reverse fixture in September, several people here queried why Northamptons price was so big before kick off, as I did in my own head. They were 1 nil down at HT in that game and went on to win 2-1 and I had backed them at HT to score at 6/4, score 2+ at 13/2 and win at 10/1 which were massive prices (apologies for patting myself on the back). I don’t understand how they’re as big as 17/5 to win again tomorrow. They’re League 2’s top scorers, they’re in 3rd place and Stockport are in 14th, Northampton are 6-4-2 (3rd best in the league) away, 20 scored and 13 conceded, and Stockport are 5-3-3 at home, 15 scored and 10 conceded. Neither are in phenomenal form but Stockport have lost their last two. It just seems a very generous price. I’ll be on these;
Northampton x2 10/11
Northampton 2+ mg 14/5
Northampton win btts 8/1 small stakes
All Ladbrokes.. BoL if ya follow
**Northampton find themselves 1-0 down at HT but have had more shots, more shots on target, more corners and 48% possession, so I’ll be doing these in play now;
Northampton 1+ mg 27/20
Northampton 2+ mg 8/1
Northampton DC 13/4
If they score I’ll have it staked that it’ll cover all bets..
Macthered I just want to say a big thankyou on behalf of a few of my friends. I regrettably didn’t follow but 4 of my friends had decent bets on Manchester United to win today after I showed them your confidence on the bet a week or so ago. You really are clued up on the Premier league. Much love to you Mac I see you for what you are and it is beautiful. Love to you bro and also to everyone on here and I will include the guy who trolled last night, he/she doesn’t realise why they do it. It all comes down to that feeling of lack.We need to show them love and compassion instead of hating. We are all One guys. There is no separation. ❤❤❤
I have bet lined up possibly next week so will be back then to eye it up.
Well said Dean
Liverpool might just avoid the drop this season you never know 🤣
One injury to Rashford and that’s it Deano,Liverpool are plagued by injuries do you not think United will go through an injury phase because they are bound to at some point and it’s a squad not blessed with depth.
No investment into the midfield is the problem Thiago only senior signing since beating spurs in European cup !!
It’s frustrating for us fans Jonesy that’s for sure.Klopp knows what he’s doing.
Hope so macca we need atleast one midfielder in jan and some new investment.
Man Utd v Man City
Man Utd to win at 3/1 ✅
Brighton v Liverpool
Brighton v Liverpool
Brighton to win at 21/10 ✅
14.75/1 double,today’s price was just over 11/1
I said City would not win at United and Liverpool wouldn’t beat Brighton,I also said it would be the easiest 14.75/1 and it was.
I will also say this bet was taken with a heavy heart.
Well done all winners
Super Macca 👏

Brazilian Campeonato Paranaense 🦉
Independente to score 13-10 HILLS.
Side bet
BTTS 13-8
Same game last February ended 2-1.
As odds suggest cascavel should win but there were only 4 points between these in this group last year though goals were scarce in their games against other teams and cascavel have been conceding in a few recent friendlies

No joy with my cards at Hampden LOSERS
Well done all winners
Well all my wolves bets failed today. We didn’t pick up a card and didn’t concede a goal (great progress but downed my bets)
I’m a happy wolf tonight…. It was a huge win for us.
A big well done and Thankyou to Macca. I took his Man U/Brighton double……. Didn’t expect it to come in but wow it did which gave me a huge profit.
Wolves next 3 games are Liverpool in the cup, then Man City and then Liverpool in the league. So we needed to beat West Ham today.
Anything can happen in our next 3 and anything we take from them is a bonus as certainly for the 2 league games I have pencilled in zero points when working out our premier league survival.
For what it’s worth I have us getting 37-40 points and just about surviving 😂😂
