Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Aston Villa to Score 2+ (Saturday, 15:00)
Aston Villa will look to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.
Unai Emery’s side lost 2-0 to Wolves two weeks ago but they did bounce back with a 2-1 win over Tottenham in the FA Cup.
Opponents Ipswich are scrapping against relegation and currently find themselves in the midst of a four-game losing run.
Villa have scored two goals or more in five of their last seven Premier League home games and they should strike twice against the toiling Tractor Boys.
Man City vs Newcastle – Both Teams to Score (Saturday, 15:00)
It’s fifth versus sixth in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon as Manchester City meet Newcastle United at the Etihad.
City were thumped 5-1 by Arsenal in their last league game and they have since lost 3-2 to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have lost two of their last three league games, with BTTS landing in each of their last three outings.
Both teams have also scored in eight of Man City’s 11 league games at the Etihad this season, so goals at both ends looks the way to go again this weekend.
Raith Rovers vs Partick Thistle – Both Teams to Score (Saturday, 15:00)
Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle face off in the Scottish Championship at Starks Park on Saturday afternoon.
Barry Robson’s side have lost their last two league games and they were also thrashed 5-0 by Celtic in the Scottish Cup last weekend.
Similarly, Partick were heavily beaten last Saturday when going down 5-2 away at Falkirk.
Both teams have scored in each of the Jags’ last seven league games and we're getting a good price about a repeat in Kirkcaldy.
Bournemouth to Score 2+ (Saturday, 15:00)
Two teams at the opposite end of the Premier League table meet at St Mary’s on Saturday, as Southampton do battle with Bournemouth.
The Saints are still stranded at the bottom of the table despite claiming a 2-1 win away at Ipswich in their last league outing.
As for Bournemouth, they were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool a fortnight ago, but this looks like an ideal chance for the Cherries to bounce back.
Ivan Juric’s side have shipped 2+ goals in six of their last eight Premier League home games and more of the same is expected at St Mary’s on Saturday.
