Scotland are on the worst run in their history and the bookies don't fancy their chances of ending the agony in Croatia tonight.
Steve Clarke's side qualified for Euro 2024 on a wave of optimism after starting their qualifying campaign with an unprecedented five successive victories, including a 2-0 triumph over Spain.
But it has all gone wrong since then, with their only win in the last 14 matches coming against minnows Gibraltar. Performances have been decent so far in the UEFA Nations League but poor defending contributed to late defeats against Poland and Portugal.
Croatia are no longer the force they once were, but with home advantage they are Betano's 8/15 hot favourites to pile on the pain for Clarke.

Croatia vs Scotland top betting tips
The Croatians weren't convincing in their last home game as they needed a single strike from old master Luka Modric to see off the Poles. That came in the second half so there could be some value in backing most goals to come after the break tonight at 21/20 with Betfred.
Clarke hasn't been helped by a number of injuries and the Scots look light in defence. If Ryan Porteous gets the nod in defence ahead of Rangers' John Souttar, the Watford stopper looks good value for a card at 8/5 with Bet365.
Modric has scored in two of his last three internationals and also netted against the Scots at the Euro 2020 finals. So the Croatian captain looks decent value at 6/4 with Bet365 to have a shot on target. Ryan Christie is usually a threat for the Scots and he's 5/2 in the same market.
Poland vs Portugal top betting tips
The other game in Scotland's Nations League group sees Poland host Portugal and it should be a close encounter based on results in the group so far.
The Portuguese have won both their matches 2-1 while Poland edged a 3-2 win at Hampden then lost 1-0 on the road in Croatia.
That suggests a tight 90 minutes and the half-time draw pays 6/5 with Betano while McBookie price a one-goal winning margin for either side at 29/20.
Portugal's two Nations League games so far have produced 13 and 18 corners so the 11/10 at Betano for over 9.5 flag kicks tonight looks good value.
Spain vs Denmark top betting tips
Spain suffered a bit of hangover after winning Euro 2024 as they could only draw with Serbia in their opening UEFA Nations League game.
But they came roaring back by crushing the Swiss 4-1 away from home so Denmark will need to be on top of their game to stand a chance in Murcia tonight.
The Danes have won both their Nations League outings 2-0 but this is a step up in class and Betano make them 13/2 rank outsiders.
Spain are missing Rodri and Dani Carvajal though so it might be worth backing both teams to score at 20/21 with Betano. Combining that with over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 11/8.
Backing some Danish players for cards could pay off, with midfielder Alexander Bah at 12/5 with Bet365 and stopper Victor Nelsson 21/10 in the same market. Combining those picks in a bet builder pays 9/1.

Airdrie vs East Kilbride
Over 3.5mgs @ 6/5 (bet365) Nb
Over 4.5mgs @ 11/4 (bet365)
The prices on these games are very generous in my opinion. Airdrie play a team from the lowland league they hammered 8-0 only a few months back, East Kilbride, who are a well funded and ran outfit for their level, are up against championship opponents & it won’t be an easy day for them, whether Airdrie are currently in form or not. East Kilbride knocked Cove out in the last round from a higher league and can see them contributing to the goal tally but Airdrie are the current holders and would be surprised if they didn’t go all out to win this fixture.
Same applies to Ayr, who have a slightly more difficult game against a stuffy Peterhead team. Never mind going out to win the tie, I reckon Ayr will have winning the trophy in their mind and have a squad good enough to do so. Should manage to notch a few against their opponent today and think they too will be under instruction to go all out for the win here.
I wouldn’t put anyone off backing goals/team goals in both these games as singles at what are better prices than I had thought, and better prices than were being offered a few days ago.
Good luck 🤞
