Saturday’s Serie A schedule is unlikely to capture the attention of most fans, as the big derbies have been scheduled for Sunday. But that doesn’t mean the three matches don’t offer plenty of betting opportunities.
Sassuolo host Cagliari in the early kickoff, followed by a relegation battle between Verona and Fiorentina. The evening will feature an intriguing matchup between Lazio, who are starting to find their form again, and Parma, who need a few more points to feel secure.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Sassuolo vs. Cagliari (2pm)
The season is effectively over for Sassuolo, who are 15 points away from a European spot and 12 points clear of the relegation zone. All that’s left for them is to finish the season on a high note without any pressure.
For Cagliari, however, the battle for survival continues, and every point could prove crucial in the end, especially since they haven’t won in seven matches straight.
As visitors, they have one win in their last five matches, and that came against a fellow bottom-of-the-table rival. The positive is that they usually score at least one goal, so we plan to bet on Both Teams to Score.

Verona vs. Fiorentina (5pm)
Although mathematically Verona can still avoid relegation, this seems highly unlikely in practice, especially if they fail to beat one of their direct rivals on Saturday.
Fiorentina have improved their form and are now out of the relegation zone, but remain dangerously close. However, it is concerning that they have lost their last two matches against Verona in Serie A.
Given the importance of the match and the recent head-to-head results, we believe the most logical bet is on cards, as there are currently good odds for Over 3.5.

Lazio vs. Parma (7:45pm)
Lazio are in their best form of the season, having won three straight matches before the international break, and we could see a late push for Europe if they keep winning.
Parma suffered two heavy losses to teams below them before the break, and although they are a safe distance from the bottom, they need a few more points before the end of the season.
Given that Parma have scored the fewest goals this season and Lazio’s defence is currently in top form, we expect a home win with a clean sheet.
