Saturday's Ligue 1 schedule will probably be less interesting for neutral fans, but the three matches offer plenty of betting opportunities.
Nantes host Angers and must win to keep their survival chances alive. Auxerre have a similar task in their match against an improved Strasbourg, while Marseille will try to hold on to their place in the top four against the struggling Toulouse.
Although there are only a few matches, they are worth paying attention to, so make sure to check out our expert tips and predictions for all Ligue 1 fixtures.
Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions
Nantes vs. Angers (4pm)
Angers' brief winning streak a few weeks ago helped them climb to a safe distance from the bottom, but they have lost their last three games without scoring a single goal.
Nantes have lost their last six league games, but they won their last home game, which should give them some motivation.
Given the poor scoring form of both teams, it is quite likely that we will see a low-scoring game.
Nantes vs. Angers top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals
Auxerre vs. Strasbourg (6pm)
Strasbourg and Auxerre are almost double the points difference, but their current form is not so far apart.
The hosts have recorded only one loss in their last five rounds, but can boast only one win in their last 10 home games. Strasbourg often show inconsistent form away from home, but on a good day, they can play as equals with the best teams in the league.
Recent examples include their 4-1 win over Lille and the 2-2 draw with Marseille. Winning on Saturday could boost them as high as two points away from the top six, and we plan to back them to do it.
Auxerre vs. Strasbourg top betting tip: Strasbourg to win
Toulouse vs. Marseille (8:05pm)
Marseille's poor form was confirmed by their elimination from the Coupe de France, which, incidentally, was against the same opponent.
After a 2-2 draw in regular time on Wednesday, we expect a very tough clash on Saturday, as well as a lot of goals again.
All five most recent H2Hs featured at least four goals at FT. We believe that both the BTTS and Over 2.5 markets are equally probable here.
