Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions
Girona vs. Athletic Bilbao (1pm)
Two consecutive rounds without a win have put a dent in Athletic Bilbao's plans to salvage their disappointing season and still play in Europe.
Girona are not in better form, but at least they are temporarily safe, six points above the relegation zone.
Although neither team is particularly prolific in the final third, their H2Hs are usually entertaining, with the last four at this stadium seeing goals from both sides. We have also seen BTTS in eight of Bilbao's last 10 away games in all competitions.

Atletico Madrid vs. Getafe (3:15pm)
The last few weeks have been sensational for Atletico Madrid. First, they reached their first Copa del Rey final in 15 years, and now they are almost certain to advance in the Champions League after a 5-2 win over Tottenham in the first leg.
Getafe can also boast four wins in their last five games, making them the only team in La Liga with that record at the moment. Three of those five wins were against teams in the top five (Real Madrid, Villarreal, Real Betis).
It will certainly be difficult for them to cope with Atletico Madrid as visitors, and they have not won at this stadium since 2010, but at least we can expect goals. Atletico's last five home games have included at least four goals.
Atletico Madrid vs. Getafe top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
Real Oviedo vs. Valencia (5:30pm)
Valencia have come to life at just the right time and are a few wins away from securing their safety. Real Oviedo continue to struggle, but they managed to beat Valencia earlier in the season, which should give them some motivation.
We should not overlook the fact that the visitors have scored only 11 goals away from home, with only Alaves having fewer this season. Real Oviedo, on the other hand, are the lowest-scoring home team, with just five goals in 13 home games this season.
These two key statistics make this match a must-play under 2.5 in our cards, although we would not risk large bets because the reverse fixture ended 2-1.
Real Oviedo vs. Valencia top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals
Real Madrid vs. Elche (8pm)
The job is far from done even after the 3-0 win against Manchester City, but the three-goal difference will allow Real Madrid to focus a little more on the match against Elche, which they must win to stay in the title race.
The visitors, meanwhile, need a win to stay above the relegation zone for at least another week. Elche are yet to win in the new year and have not won a single away game all season.
Real Madrid will probably make quite a few changes for this match, but that shouldn't prevent them from keeping a clean sheet against the weakest visitors in La Liga.
