After losing to St Mirren last weekend, Rangers pulled the plug on Philippe Clement's time at the club and placed Barry Ferguson in charge of the team on a temporary basis until the end of the season.
The Ferguson era got off to the perfect start in the week with a 4-2 win away at Kilmarnock and now the club's former captain will take charge of his first match at Ibrox against Motherwell later today.
While Ferguson will almost certainly be unable to bridge the 13-point gap at the top of the table, he will feel he has a chance of bringing the feel-good factor back to Ibrox which could see them go on a deep run in Europe.

Dessers scored the first Rangers goal on the night, something he had a habit of doing in recent times. Three of his last six goals for the club have all been the opener and with his place in the team guaranteed today, he is a good bet to do it again.
Robin Propper to be booked (7/2)
Robin Propper is Rangers' most booked player across all competitions this season with the 31-year-old receiving eight bookings to date. Seven of those have come in the Scottish Premiership, meaning he has already served a suspension for his crimes so he is no longer walking a disciplinary tightrope.
Propper was booked in the win over Kilmarnock on Wednesday night and his cards do tend to come in clusters – earlier in the campaign he received three bookings in five matches.
