Following on from their World Cup disappointment, Wales take on Ghana at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night in a friendly.
After finishing second in their World Cup qualifying group behind Belgium, Wales went into the playoffs where their World Cup dreams were ended following a defeat on penalties to Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Five days after that disappointment, Craig Bellamy’s men were in friendly action against Northern Ireland, where they played out a 1-1 draw in the Welsh capital.
Ghana, on the other hand, qualified for their fifth World Cup finals, and their second on the bounce, as they topped their World Cup qualifying group, finishing six points clear of nearest challengers Madagascar.
However, Carlos Queiroz’s men have lost each of their three friendlies since qualification for the World Cup, with the most recent being a 2-0 loss against co-hosts Mexico.
How the bookies view it: Wales favourites
Wales have been installed as favourites to win on Tuesday night, with bet365 pricing a home success at 17/20.
Ghana are 3/1 to put a halt to their three-match losing run, whilst the draw is 9/4.
Head to head: First-ever meeting
Tuesday evening will be the first-ever meeting between these two nations.
Players to watch: Sorba to strike again?
Sorba Thomas enjoyed an impressive personal campaign for Stoke City last season, as he scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in the Championship for the Potters.
The Welsh winger also scored last time out for Wales against Northern Ireland, and is an appealing 19/20 at William Hill to Score or Assist on Tuesday.

Predicted line-ups:
Wales will be without the injured Ben Cabango, Jordan James, Rubin Colwill, Liam Cullen, Mark Harris and Harry Wilson.
Ghana will be missing West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus due to injury,
Wales: Ward, Roberts, Mepham, Davies, Williams, Ampadu, Sheehan, Ramsey, Johnson, James, Moore
Ghana: Ati-Zigi, Seidu, Djiku, Salisu, Mensah, Samed, Owusu, Nuamah, Ayew, Sulemana, Semenyo
Anything else catch the eye?
Wales come into this clash off the back of a pair of 1-1 draws with Bosnia & Herzegovina and Northern Ireland, but they are favourites to return to winning ways.
The Black Stars have lost each of their last three matches – shipping 2+ goals in each of them – and I’m backing that trend to continue in the Welsh capital on Tuesday.
