Unfortunately, it was just one winner from the Saturday Lucky 15. Given that two were potential main thread selections, I was confident in getting at least two winners.

Legacy Rock 2/1 – Nottingham 2.50

Carrying 10st won't make this an easy task for the in-form Legacy Rock, but he is in great form and arrives looking for the hat-trick.

This is technically an easier race than the other two he has previously won, as he has done his winning in Class 5 company, and this is a Class 6. Jack Callan retains the ride and takes off a very handy 3lbs. In races like this, you want to be backing horses that know how to win, so I think we're onto a winner.

Sharp Romance 2/1 – Nottingham 4.55

Phillip McBride's lightly raced Sharp Romance finds herself in a nice position running off 8st 4lbs. She has been in good form since making a decent debut at the start of the season, as shown by winning one and finishing as a runner-up last time around.

She lost by a short head last time out at Newmarket, and the winner has gone on to win since. Sharp Romance gets Saffie Osborne in the saddle, which takes Ashley Lewis out of the saddle. Ashley claimed 5lbs last time out, so she is running off a 7lb higher mark, but Saffie is a much better jockey, so I deem that as a positive.

Leadenhall 9/4 – Nottingham 5.25

My selection hasn't been in the greatest of form, but if you look at when he last ran in a Class 5, it was back in 2023. That win came off the same handicap mark that he runs off today (72).

He has been running in much better races than this, so he should strongly appreciate running against lesser quality horses.

Noble Vow 4/1 – Thirsk 4.15

Noble Vow took a long time to get his first win on the board, but he quickly followed it up last time out at Haydock, and he did it nicely.

It appears that Richard Hannon's horse has got his act together, and it could be worth following him whilst he is in a rich vein of form. It's another step up in class and against better quality horses, but based on what we've seen from him on his last two runs, there's no reason to believe he can't stop progressing.

I'd have expected him to be a little shorter in the market, so seeing him as the 4/1 market favourite seems quite generous. I'd expect him to shorten up by at least one point, as he has to be the most likely winner.
