Newcastle United's impressive winning run came to an abrupt halt last weekend but the Magpies will be confident of getting back on track in the Premier League when they visit rock-bottom Southampton.
Eddie Howe's men were looking to make it 10 successive victories in all competitions when they hosted Bournemouth but crashed to a surprise 4-1 loss as a corner bet salvaged something for me.
That saw Newcastle drop below both Manchester City and Chelsea in the race for a top-four finish but they are still just two points off the pace for a Champions League slot.
Howe will be desperate to take them back to Europe's top table and if he's to achieve that aim then his side can't afford to stumble against the likes of Saints.
Southampton are red-hot 1/40 favourites for the drop after collecting just six points from 22 games and they're in danger of suffering the worst season in Premier League history.
Performances have picked up a little, with Ivan Juric's men pushing Manchester United and Nottingham Forest close in their last two games, but it would be a surprise if they beat Howe's well-drilled team.
How the bookies view it: Saints don't have a prayer
With Southampton winning just once in the Premier League all season, it's easy to see why they are BoyleSports' 11/2 outsiders. Newcastle United are 2/5 favourites while the draw pays 15/4.
Recent head to head: Magpies on song
Newcastle have been a bogey team for Southampton in recent years, with the Magpies unbeaten in the last eight meetings. They've won seven of those matches, including a 1-0 victory at St James' Park earlier in the season when Newcastle played most of the game with 10 men.
Players to watch: Joe with the flow
Joelinton grabbed Newcastle's winner in that clash with Saints earlier this season and has chipped in with four goals from midfield this season. The Brazilian is 11/4 at BoyleSports for another goal here.
Kamaldeen Sulemana has been a real bright spark for Southampton in recent games down the left flank. He ran Manchester United's Leny Yoro ragged and is 6/1 for a goal here. An assist might be more likely and that pays 7/1 at Bet365.
Probable line-ups
Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling is set to miss out again with injury along with Jack Stephens, Ross Stewart, Gavin Bazunu and Juan Larios.
Newcastle's injury issues have eased in recent weeks and they're only without Callum Wilson, Nick Pope and Jamaal Lascelles.
Southampton: Ramsdale, Harwood-Bellis, Bree, Bednarek, Walker-Peters, Oguchukwu, Aribo, Sugawara, Sulemana, Fernandes, Onuachu.
Newcastle: Dubravaka, Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall, Guimaraes, Joelinton, Tonali, Gordon, Murphy, Isak.
Anything else catch the eye?
Southampton have carried a threat in recent games and Newcastle shipped four goals in their last outing so we should see goals at both ends here. BTTS pays just 4/7 with BoyleSports but combining it with no draw boosts the odds to 23/20. I also like over 3.5 match goals at 11/10.
Going for corners paid off for me in Newcastle's last match so I'm going to revisit that market here. BoyleSports are offering 7/5 on over 4.5 corners in the first half and that looks like a decent bet.
Newcastle have pace and trickery down the flanks so I fancy Saints full-back Kyle Walker-Peters for a card. He has amassed five yellows already this term and is 7/2 at Bet365 to go into the book again.
