RANGERS continue their quest for Scottish Premiership glory when they go up against Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Philippe Clement's side are currently sitting in second place but their destiny is still in their own hands following a dramatic 3-3 draw with Old Firm rivals Celtic last Sunday.
The Light Blues have since been denied the opportunity to move back to the summit of the Scottish top-flight after their game in hand at Dundee was postponed for a second time in midweek.
That means Rangers could well find themselves trailing Celtic by four points by the time they take to the field in Dingwall on Sunday lunchtime.
As for 11th-placed Ross County, they are four points from safety after finding themselves on the wrong end of a 1-0 reverse at Kilmarnock last Saturday.
The Staggies have never beaten Rangers in 23 attempts and it is going to take a herculean effort from the hosts to snap that sequence on Sunday.
Outright Betting
Ross County – who have won just two of their last 18 Scottish premiership matches – are 12/1 underdogs (William Hill) while the the draw is an unfancied 6/1 (Bet 365).
Rangers are heavy 2/9 (UniBet) favourites to record what would be a fifth Scottish top-flight road win in succession
Betting Angles
As is the case more often than not, Rangers are unbackable this weekend so I'm going to head to the Bet Builder and merge Rangers to Win, Under 4.5 Goals, Over 3.5 Rangers Corners and Over 0.5 Ross County Cards at 19/20 on BetVictor.
Rangers have been pretty consistent under Philippe Clement's guidance but it would be fair to say they have been more efficient than emphatic in their displays, and it could be a similar story against relegation-threatened Ross County on Sunday.
The Light Blues boss has banked maximum points from 19 of his 23 Scottish Premiership games in charge so far, with a sizeable 17 of those successes featuring four match goals or fewer.
As such, I'm prepared to side with another solid if unspectacular Gers victory on Sunday, but to bolster the odds, I'll also back the visitors to earn a minimum of four corners.
The Glasgow giants are averaging 7.29 corners per-game in the Scottish top-flight this term, not to mention they racked up an eye-watering 20 flag-kicks against Ross County when the pair last crossed paths back in February
For the final leg of the 19/20 (BetVictor) Bet Builder, I'll go Don Cowie's hosts to clock up at least one card during this contest, something they have done in 15 of their last 16 league games.
Given that this Bet Builder would have yielded profit from the previous two meetings between the sides this season, supporting the same selection on Sunday seems like a sensible solution at 19/20 (BetVictor).
Elsewhere, I'll also chance a fun longshot selection by throwing some loose change on Rangers' Fabio Silva to go into the book at 14/1 on Bet 365.
The Portuguese forward received plenty criticism for his theatrics throughout last week's Old Firm game and even though his yellow card was rescinded following a VAR review, the 14/1 (Bet 365) about a Silva booking this Sunday feels too big to ignore.
