Real Mallorca are set to take on Atletico Madrid on Sunday, 10 November in the final round of La Liga fixtures before the November international break.
Real Mallorca come into the match on the back of two games without a win so will be keen to take three points here ahead of a two week break.
Atletico Madrid are perhaps even more desperate for a win, though, as any more dropped points would make the gap between themselves and Barcelona feel insurmountable.
How the bookies view it: The visitors start as favourites
Atletico Madrid haven't been great on the road this season but they still go in as favourites here. Betfred aren't totally convinced, though, and have priced them at 13/10 to take all three points back with them to the capital. Meanwhile, a win for Real Mallorca has been priced at 5/2 and the draw has been priced at 2/1.
Recent head-to-head: Advantage Atleti
Atletico Madrid will feel confident ahead of this one thanks in large to their recent record against Real Mallorca. Diego Simeone's men have won their last three matches against Sunday's opponents and last season, they didn't concede a goal in either of the two league encounters.
Interstingly, Real Mallorca enjoyed a three-game winning streak over Atletico Madrid in the the three matches prior to the current run.
Players to watch: A battle between two experienced playmakers
Although Atletico Madrid splashed the cash on two star forwards in Alexander Sorloth and Julian Alvarez and a new man in the engine room in Conor Gallagher, their best and most reliable player remains Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman scored 16 league goals last season and the year before, he registered 16 league assists demonstrating just how much of an offensive weapon he is when it comes to both goalscoring and playmaking.
He is yet to reach the high standards he set himself so far this season, perhaps due to the new players he is building connections with, but he did create the last-minute winner against PSG on Wednesday night which will have filled him with plenty of confidence.
Meanwhile, Real Mallorca have a man with even more miles on the clock in Dani Rodriguez. The 36-year-old midfielder has oozed class so far this season and looks as good as he ever has done. So far this season, he has contributed three assists and two goals in nine league outings.
Predicted line-ups
Real Mallorca are missing three players for Sunday's match with Takuma Asano, Ivan Cuellar and Valery Fernandez all in the treatment room. It's not all bad news, though, as Samu Costa returns from suspension. Atletico Madrid are without four players with Cesar Azpilicueta, Thomas Lemar, Marcos Llorente and Robin Le Normand all out.
Real Mallorca: Greif – Maffeo, Valjent, Raillo, Mojica – Navarro, Costa, Morlanes, Darder – Muriqi, Larin
Atletico Madrid: Oblak – Molina, Gimenez, Lenglet, Galan – Riquelme, Koke, De Paul, Gallagher – Alvarez, Griezmann
