NOTTINGHAM FOREST'S desperate fight for survival continues on Tuesday with a home game against Fulham which could fit into the must-win category.
And Fulham still hope to make a late charge and gatecrash the European places.
Both sides were held to draws at the weekend, but Forest's need is greater after that four points deduction. They are outside the relegation zone on goal difference – three goals better off than Luton Town.
Even if they hadn't been hit with the deduction, they would still be fighting for their lives after a wretched recent run where they can hardly buy a win.
In fact, they have manged just one victory in the league this year and that's relegation form. One league win out of 11. They have drawn their last two games against Luton Town and Crystal Palace to stop a run of four defeats in a row
But they desperately need to somehow find a win from somewhere.
Fulham are going along nicely with only one loss in their last five games which included three wins – and impressively they were against Manchester United away and thumping home wins against Brighton and Spurs. They battled back at Sheffield United at the weekend with two goals in the last four minutes to steal a point.
And going to the City Ground is unlikely to hold any fears for Fulham.
How the bookies view it
Nottingham Forest are narrow but consistent favourites across the board here and can be backed at 8/5 by 888sport.
Fulham are slight outsiders at 9/5 with Boylesports and the draw is 49/20 with UniBet.
Recent head to heads
Fulham have good reason to be confident going into this after thrashing the Tricky Trees 5-0 back in December in London.
The capital side have won the last three meetings and Forest haven't enjoyed a home win in this fixture for five games in a row.
Players to watch
New Zealand international Chris Wood scored in his second game in a row to rescue a point for Forest in their weekend draw with Crystal Palace. He is 12/5 to score anytime with UniBet.
Brazilian striker Rodrigo Muniz rescued a point for Fulham at the weekend at Sheffield Unitedand he's a man in form after eight goals in his last eight games. He is 23/10 to score anytime with Paddy Power and that has to be backed here.
Anything else catch the eye?
This has draw written all over it – as both sides did at the weekend and Forest have managed in their past two games.
It's impossible to fancy Forest to justify favouritism and they look too short, but seven of their last eight defeats have been by one goal and they are fighting for their lives so the draw looks the call here. They are also the second highest team for draws in the league.
Fulham games have gone over 2.5 goals for eight games in a row and they are entertaining to watch. William Hill go 10/11 for another game and that looks a solid shout.
