NEWCASTLE UNITED will aim to take another step towards Premier League survival when they lock horns with Leicester City at St James' Park on Sunday.
The Magpies returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last Friday night.
That triumph snapped a three-game losing run in the top-flight for Eddie Howe's team and it all-but-assured Premier League safety in the process.
Whilst the Toon boast a 10-point buffer over the bottom-three, they know that another win here will take them closer to making it mathematically certain that they will be plying their trade in the top tier next term.
Leicester City, meanwhile, have fallen well below expectations this season but they have bagged 13 points from the last 18 on offer to move into the top half of the table, the most recent of which was a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, on an afternoon where my King Power Bet Builder copped.
However, the Foxes will arrive in the north east riding a crest of a wave after reaching the Europa Conference League semi-finals following a dramatic 2-1 win at PSV Eindhoven on Thursday evening.

Despite triumphing in five of their last six encounters with Newcastle, Leicester City are 27/11 (SBK) outsiders while the draw is trading at 12/5 (SBK).
Betting Angles
There isn't a huge amount of appeal in the 1×2 market here but backing both teams to score looks like a value alternative at 10/13 with SBK.
Goals have been a regular feature of Newcastle home games this season and I suspect another entertaining encounter could be in the offing at a St James' Park on Sunday.
Both teams have made the net bulge in a sizeable 10 of the Toons' 15 (67%) Premier League home this term to date, not to mention BTTS punters would have pocketed profit in no fewer than 19 of Newcastle's 31 (61%) outings overall thus far.

Eddie Howe's hosts are averaging 2.26 cards per-game in the Premier League this season – a tally only topped by Leeds – and it's also worth noting that 10 of Newcastle's last 13 league games have broken the Over 3.5 card barrier.
