BOTH the Netherlands and Austria will be looking to secure qualification from Euro 2024 Group D when the duo do battle at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Tuesday evening.
Ronald Koeman’s men are occupying top spot in the section with four points, while Ralph Rangnick’s side are in third place with a points tally of three.
The Dutch find themselves residing at the top of Group D following a drab 0-0 draw with France on Friday, in a game that brought up one of my player-based bets.
That means another draw from their final pool assignment would be enough to secure Koeman's crew spot in the knockout round.
As for Austria, they bounced back from their opening Group D defeat against France by putting Poland to the sword 3-1 on Friday evening.

Austria are as big as 12/5 on Betfred to claim top honours while an all square affair at the Olympiastadion has been chalked up at 9/4 with the same oddsmaker.

Players to watch: Baumgartner a big price to bag
Christoph Baumgartner is enjoying a bit of a purple patch in front of goal for Austria at present, having scored in six of his last seven outings for his country. The Austrian attacking midfielder therefore looks overpriced to notch against the Netherlands at 3/1 on Betfred.
After failing to make his mark against France last Friday night, Memphis Depay will out to make amends against Austria. The Dutch forward is at the head of the anytime goalscorer market ahead of this game, with his odds to strike currently trading at 15/8 on Betfred.

I suspect this clash will be much closer than the pre-match odds suggest, so much so that I’m going to combine Austria Double Chance and Under 5.5 goals at 4/5 on Betfred’s Bet Builder.
Ralph Rangnick’s side pushed France all the way in their opening Group D fixture and they are capable of making life difficult for a far from vintage Dutch side in the German capital.
Austria have lost two of their last 18 matches across all competitions, highlighting just how tough a nut Das Team are to crack, with this particular Bet Builder banking 15 times across that 18-game sample.
