Champions Liverpool will look to continue their climb up the Premier League table as they welcome rock-bottom Wolves to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Liverpool backed up their 2-0 victory at home to Brighton by going to North London and defeating Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday on an evening in which all three of my selections landed.
That victory has moved them up into fifth position in the Premier League table, and they’ll be confident of recording a sixth Premier League victory at Anfield this season against their struggling visitors.
Wolves’ miserable season continued last weekend, as they fell to a 0-2 defeat at home to poor-travelling Brentford.
Rob Edwards’s men have picked up a dismal two points across their opening 17 Premier League fixtures this season (W0-D2-L15) and already look destined to be playing Championship football next campaign.
How the bookies view it: Liverpool clear favourites
As expected, Liverpool are clear favourites to return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend, with bet365 pricing a home success at just 1/4.
Bet365 have Wolves as 9/1 underdogs to claim their first Premier League victory this season, whilst the draw is also unfancied at 6/1.
Head to head: Five on the spin for the Reds
Liverpool have been victorious in each of their previous five meetings with Wolves, with all five victories featuring fewer than four goals, and a repeat pays an appealing 23/20 at bet365.
Players to watch: Hugo to hit the target again?
Hugo Ekiteke has made a decent start to his Liverpool career, as he has scored 11 goals across his opening 24 appearances for the Reds.
The ex-Eintracht Frankfurt attacker has scored five goals across his previous three Premier League appearances, and the 5/6 on offer at bet365 for him to find the target again on Saturday appeals to me here.

Predicted line-ups:
Liverpool will be missing Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo and Alexander Isak through injury, whilst Mo Salah is away to AFCON, Dominik Szoboszlai is also suspended, and Conor Bradley and Cody Gakpo are doubtful.
Wolves will be without the injured Dan Bentley, Jean-Ricner Bellgarde, Rodrigo Gomes and Marshall Munetsi, whilst Emmanuel Agbadou and Tawanda Chirewa are away at AFCON duty.
Liverpool: Alisson, Frimpong, Konate, van Dijk, Kerkez, Gravenberch, Jones, Wirtz, MacAllister, Chiesa Ekiteke
Wolverhampton Wanderers: Sa, Doherty, Krejci, Bueno, Hoever, Andre, Gomes, Wolfe, Lopez, Wolfe, Strand Larsen
Anything else catch the eye?
Liverpool appear to be coming back into form, with Arne Slot’s men winning each of their last three in all competitions, and are expected to claim all three points against their hapless visitors.
The Reds are understandably short at 1/4, but that price can be boosted to 11/10 at Bet Victor by backing them to keep a clean sheet.
The Old Gold have scored just two goals on their travels this campaign, failing to score in six of their eight road trips, whilst Liverpool have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven Premier League victories.
