After climbing to second in La Liga, Barcelona will be looking to keep hold of their position as they travel to relegation threatened Levante on Sunday. While the hosts have shown some improvement lately, Barcelona are doing much better at the moment and their superior quality should give them the upper hand.
Levante boosted their hopes of survival with a 2-0 victory over Villarreal in their previous La Liga fixture. They laboured in the first half but came to life after the break with Jose Luis Morales netting a brace.
It was a much-needed win for Levante as it ended a run of two defeats and a draw from their previous three matches. The result means Alessio Risci’s men have climbed off the foot of the table and are now three points from safety.

The bookies have Barcelona as overwhelming favourites at 5/11 with SBK while a victory for Levante is valued at 11/2 by William Hill. SBK is also offering odds of 41/10 for a draw.

Barcelona have a 23-3 advantage with five draws from 31 previous matches with Levante. The Catalans have also won three of the last four meetings and triumphed 3-0 in the reverse fixture back in September.
Players to watch
Levante’s recent resurgence has coincided with a return to goalscoring form for Jose Luis Morales. The attacker has three goals in his last two home matches and is priced at 10/3 by Unibet to maintain his scoring form.
